It feels like we're the self-aware folks who don't fall for Nigerian Prince email scams, looking down our noses at the stupid old folks giving away all their pension checks to some goober at a state-sponsered call center.
Like, we know we're not that stupid; but it's a small consolation when you realize just how many stupid people there are out there.
I'm still concerned that, in their possession, those ballots could be surreptitiously manipulated to show whatever they want them to... It's wild to me that a judge signed off on that warrant.
😂 Love it when people are like "being an American on an international stage right now is a nuanced topic" and the actual President of these United States of America jumps on his own personal Twitter in the wee hours of the morning like "This is about Me and I don't like it so everybody else, now you also have to hate this guy now!"
Anecdotally, it's mostly boomers, but there's a handful of 20's-30's too. I went on my first and only cruise, a Carnival, with five friends circa 2016. We split two rooms and a drink package. The casinos were packed with the eldest, and the younger folks just double-fisted mixed drinks all day (our plan). Saw at least a few get carted off the pool deck in wheelchairs. The food was legitimately great, never seen such excess before or since. Everything else was meh, including the stops in the Bahamas (though that was mostly due to the weather being terrible).
4/10 experience at best and the value we managed to get probably hasn't existed for years now.
The staff were innumerable and worked so hard to facilitate a good experience for all the passengers. Not surprising to hear they're underpaid. :/ One more reason I've not sought out another cruise experience.

This post negates every single one of all those other posts that say "don't worry, nobody ever remembers that one really embarrassing thing you did back in school."
