  • I think it was still the right move for Biden to drop out. His brain was clearly done. Trump looked like a sure win after the ear incident, and Trump got rattled with someone younger stepping in.

But it never mattered what Trump said, Republicans were always going to vote for him.

It would have been better if Biden dropped out sooner, if they let Bernie run, if Kamala didn’t fruitlessly try to win Republican votes by moving further right.

She could have done anything even slightly for the working class, stand up to Israel in a meaningful way.

Instead we got “I’m speaking”, “most lethal army”, “I will have a Republican in my cabinet”, “Israel must expand its borders” from Walz.

She should have moved to the left and differentiated herself, get people excited and motivated for some actual change. All we got was “maybe I won’t be quite as bad as Trump”.

You can chastise people for staying home all day, but that’s never going to actually get people to put their energy and effort into supporting you and move millions of people needed to get to the ballot box.

Also need to consider all the forces of Israel, Russia, the “alt-right”, Elon Musk were in full play to disenfranchise voters and who knows what other kinds of trickery behind the scenes. They needed an absolute surge to overcome all that, not some weak sauce Trump-lite bullshit.

  • People standing up for Palestine didn’t vote for fucking Trump. They mostly begrudgingly voted for Harris.

I’m not going to cast judgement on actual Palestinians who had their entire bloodlines erased by the Biden / Harris administration not being able to stomach voting for Harris.

Regardless, they weren’t a big enough voting block to sway the election.

The blame lies more with the DNC, Republicans, Trump. Hell 55% of Latino men voted for Trump.

Why couldn’t Biden / Harris do the bare minimum to stop sending countless bombs and weapons to Israel for an entire year of non-stop genocide? Are they completely guilt free in your mind?

Even if some Arab Americans couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Harris, they were not actively voting for Trump.

Palestinians have never done anything wrong except try to exist on their native land while undergoing decades of genocide while the world remained largely silent.

“You get what you fucking deserve.”

Scratch a liberal, a fascist bleeds. Don’t pretend you were ever on the left or ever stood against the genocide if that’s your attitude. You’re just trying to make it easy on yourself for not actually standing for anything and you’re just as guilty as those genocidal maniacs.

  • You should blame yourself for not pushing the democrats to take a principled stance against Israel, or any kind of benefit for working people, or anything at all that would inspire people to vote that wasn’t the gun of fascism to their heads.

“It’s HER turn” didn’t work for Hillary and it wasn’t going to work for Kamala.

You may now proceed to gloat in your self-satisfaction and continue to not unionize your workplace, not join a mutual aid group, not join the SRA and be flabbergasted next time your efforts to tell people online to VOTE have the same effect.
