  • Ist ja ne 2,5" platte, die gehen normalerweise mit einem Port .

  • Huh, me too :D

  • Irgendwelche von tin-hifi ich glaube t2 oder t4. Aber die meisten in ear monitore, kurz IEMs, haben tauschbare Kabel. Eigentlich egal welcher Hersteller.

  • Start -> Shift+shutdown also tells Windows to not use fast boot or hybrid shut or whatever...

  • I feel, for the hard to replace stuff an interstate bridge in a dense city for example, aiming for a three digit life span should be considered.

Just because it kinda sucks having to replace infrastructure like that. And the city is most likely still going to be there and need that infrastructure.

  • I remember 2,5" hot-swap bays being a thing some years ago, surely some cases still come with them. Although for the average user that setup is pretty overkill, and pcmcia cards were smaller, kinda figures that it hasn't gotten mass adoption.

  • I still do that but with a usb drive, which is way more capable especially with ventoy on it.

  • Megawatt-hours hopefully, because if it was 11 MW no wonder we have global warming :D

  • Das stimmt aber nur fast, wenn man sie oft genug in warmen Stiefeln trägt und sie wenig lüftet riechen die auch irgendwann.

  • Same for me lol, ive been thinking about putting jellyfin behind a VPN again, since I'm the only one using it, and usually just at home.

The only service that some ppl actually use is nextcloud.

  • Oh yes

  • Could've figured... Totally didn't though :D Would be nice if spoilers were a standard feature, maybe we'll get them in the future.

  • Manual mill, mokka pot, and a pot and french press for making frothed(?) milk. Plus rinsing off the milk afterwards

Not quite sure if ppl call it frothed milk or steamed milk...

  • The link doesn't point to Imgur, so...

  • Oh yes

  • On my third party client (Boost) none of your examples work but the ops does. Maybe a hold over from the Reddit days?

  • Maybe whoever made this didn't consider them as land?

Edit: Although they only specify "Oceans" for the area of water, which excludes the mentioned other bodies of water. Idk...

  • For some apps at least, you can turn off notifications by category. Usually that takes care of any annoying ones.

  • I once did a whole bunch of research looking into turning my old gaming laptop into a Nas/Homeserver.

And buying the supporting hardware to get more than the three SATA ports it had (mcpie adapter and SATA card and a power supply) would have been more jank and expensive than buying a used desktop in a big case and using that instead.

I'd say it does make sense, the only thing I lost is power efficiency, but I'm trying to not think too hard about that :D

With the right software most consumer hardware can be a decent server, although not having ECC ram kinda sucks. Usually most motherboards have enough SATA ports for a few drives and if not, just add a PCIE card that does.
