We need a website to highlight what projects need funding and how much. Potemtially partner up with open source social media too so projects can display how much they need for the year
So in a way its more educating people on better options rather than brand loyalty for an inferior product, hige various marketing to get smaller competitors to be seen, and those products sound awesome so innovations like that would pair well with marketing pushes (Community assistance would go a long way for marketimg).
Would love to see Valve do a SteamOS Linux Phone next.
With it coming with an optional phone gaming accessory to use your phone as a controller (with same design/gaming usage as Steam Deck/Steam Controller)
For use with any Valve hardware/software through the connected accessory (Bluetooth/Dongle/Wired)
Don't have an extra controller? Use your phone with the add-on.
Sidenote: Wonder if PostmarketOS will add support for Steam Frame overtime. Sadly it does not have call support I think but otherwise it would technically be a different kind of device that could function as a phone tok
Encourage them to make a website so people across the country can make their own chapters per town and city too. It takes us all to make sure we lose nobody else to that.
Would be awesome to hear more people stories of switching themselves, others, and their work/business to open source
