I get your point, I use pocket squares to accessorize but to each their own. My mental association of ties revolves around IBM staff (and similar) being forced to wear ties for no reason other than “management decision”. Until the AI results can be trusted, I don’t see how this happens. I’ve been using AI for some questions that would normally be on stackoverflow but I don’t find code generation to save me time. Because I can’t implicitly trust the product, I still have to review the code before I can use it. If I have to review and understand it, it rarely saves me time. There have been edge cases where it helped me in some areas, like turning a CSV into a visual report in PDF format but I still had to review everything. It just happens that I suck as report tools so it was a shorter amount of time for me to review the AI report than to put together visualizations myself.

Maybe browser devs will take this opportunity to start working towards memory optimizations. That’s where the majority of my memory goes and that includes Electron apps.
While I am not a big fan of the music style, I thought the visuals and dancing were incredible. I was just awestruck at the level of prep the must have put in to get that performance to that level. They had street scenes, rural scenes, all at the same time and live. It all flowed so well, I thought it was such an incredible performance without actually being a fan of the music genre. That to me is the mark of an amazing performance.
I work with people in similar conditions circumstances and they are choosing not to travel out of the country at the moment as they don’t know if they will be able to reenter. That’s bold of you’re friend to assume the can get back in. Personally, I would stay in the UK if that were an option for me but it’s tough when people build a full life somewhere.
