My internal model of OpenAI is that its a shady business. They are in the industry of stealing data and information and transforming it into a service. With all of the drama surrounding their non-profit transition, and the fact that Altman was kicked out for essentially lying; I'm not surprised that figures and numbers leaked and reported to not line up.
Nevertheless, I kinda hope that AI inference continues to get cheaper. Like it or not, a lot of AI companies are offering their services at a discount in a feeble attempt to get a larger share of the market. This incentives them to basically lie about their capabilities, overpromice and under deliver. If the AI bubble we're to pop it would be nice if the fallout weren't as bad, and I think lower inference cost would help with that.
I get what you are saying. But adding a new form of data input into the system would probably function to improve performance, not decrease it. I don't think it makes sense to not add LIDAR into Teslas.
All of this feels like Elon was asked to justify not putting a rather expensive (at the time) set of sensors into the Teslas, and he just doubles down and says that they will compensate with software.
I dunno man... I don't know much about Pakistan or India. Why is their philosophy centered on terrorism? Why did they consider that? I feel like both sides are brainwashed to hell and need to chill out.
I hate Epstein as much as the next guy, but do we trust Drop Site News as a primary source?
