I just read that dolphins shed their skin almost 10 times more frequently than humans. Some species do it every two hours! Imagine the amount of energy spent in this.
I still remember my Masters degree in distributed computing. C++ in vi (not even vim), monochromatic display, 36 computers working together to give me a bunch of SIGSEGV.
2, sometimes 5, rarely 20. My wife 2, maybe 15.

But seriously, strollers and wheelchairs.
What about the Grabher case in Ontario? Guy gets vanity plate, DMV receives ONE complaint because “grab her”, guy shows his ID, proving that it’s his surname, gets plate cancelled anyway.

But they can close their server and render the device inoperable, just like what happened to a water sensor I had.

argh_another_username@lemmy.cato Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•It was all a lie, wasn't it?15·13 days agoPipes are installed before the mortar (I think that’s the name), sometimes carving bricks. Wires pass inside flexible tubes (literally translated to conductors). This has the advantage that, if the tube is wide enough, we can pass more wires.

How could he make a home inside a wall like that? The walls are completely solid, with bricks and mortar. I had to move to Canada to understand that the walls are hollow and the house is made from wood, plaster, plastic and styrofoam.

Of course, if it’s a Tinder date, go ahead. But if you’re looking for a girlfriend, going a (first) date with a loaded gun is not a good idea. Blow a load right before, so you’re more romantic and will think straight.
As but if it’s AI, it shouldn’t have anyone operating it.

There’s an old myth about a shipment of playing cards. The guy buys a whole container of playing cards, but removes the same card from all packs. The shipment is confiscated and later sold for almost nothing because the packs are all incomplete. He then buys the shipment and restores the packs. All this was cheaper than paying import duties.
Maybe this guy is playing a long game.
