  • Maybe we’ll be able to set up a system level user account that was “born yesterday” so it will be automatically illegal to track or advertise to minors. So dumb.

  • I think of toads and newts as being more terrestrial, while frogs and salamanders are more aquatic. Obviously they’re all amphibious, but frogs and salamanders like to keep their skin wet, but I’ve seen totally dry and dusty toads.

  • Phew, last thing we needed was a new kind of drought in California.

  • Schools have to deal with some outrageous swings in demographics. Not always economic. And the state budget ebbs and floods, we had a surplus a few years ago. Anyway the rich should be taxed even more, and we should limit property ownership to residents. But I’m not sure you provided evidence about the economy of the state.

  • One paper bag toss it in the mixer. In fact if the truck is unattended you can grab the sugar bag which they keep in the cabin for this purpose. A wasted batch is cheaper than a ruined truck.

  • I think I was remembering the CIA Wikileaks one which was a compromised DLL.

  • If I recall correctly this is the second time this has happened to N++. Fool me once… can’t get fooled again.

  • Four LXCs

  • For our current level of inflation we should have dimes (the new penny), 50 cent pieces (instead of quarter), and coins for $1, $2, and $5. Then in bills we should have $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, and $1000.

  • No we’re only free from regular drought. But we are in a snow drought!

  • Isn’t JavaScript technically open source? Does photopea use WASM? Maybe there’s a way to self host and remove ads?

  • It looks burned but it’s raw inside

  • Well for an added layer of caution on those 5 days, maybe, but not on its own.

  • Why is it bad advice to give men the means to control their reproduction without any outside party involvement? Because nobody profits off of it? The article is about limiting access to birth control. I’m simply saying, if your government does it you can still have safe(er) sex. No hormones or abortions needed.

  • I don’t know who will find this information helpful but I wish I knew when I was young.

A woman is only fertile during about 5 days each lunar cycle. Unfortunately those days are the most fun but the other 24 are safer.

Testicles descend when it’s hot to cool down because heat kills sperm. If you buy a microscope, and dunk your sack in hot water for a few minutes each day, you can become temporarily sterile and verify it with the microscope.

Finally, there’s a point you can press just in front of your anus that suppresses ejaculation. Any one of those things by itself would be risky but all three and it would be nearly impossible to fertilize an egg.

  • Is it a llama or guanaco?

  • How many of those are within walking distance of a grocery store? Many of them would likely not be suitable for a low income resident without a motor vehicle.
