    [EDIT: P.S I once got rid of a psoriasis like skin irritation by giving it an even cover of yakult three times a day (once in the morning, once at lunch time, and once before bed). My theory on why this worked is that it reset the biome whilst forming a protective shell that deprived oxygen to the effected area.]

Lighter sentences, less likelihood of being arrested, better treatment when they do get arrested.t Much shorter sentences in prisons which compare holiday resorts. I mean the first time Epstein was arrested for sex crimes he was allowed to leave the prison in daylight hours.

    ... doesn't that start to look like elites are in a criminal conspiracy? That other elites create these conditions for them? Eg. Wealthy elite schools producing unchecked criminality, and sharing the secrets of getting these better conditions?

  • Lots of companies will do this, eventually advertising the purity and the size of their human created training data.

    These will be the companies selling their content to AI companies, although some will probably just be scanned in illegally. Perhaps a new type of copy write lawsuit will have to be invented.

    Most people will continue to use these sites, aware their data is being used like this.

  • Start by dismantling the housing market. Make owning multiple investment properties illegal, initially give a "sale by" time ordered by the government, if it's not met, the government bid must be accepted. That bid should initially be at the low end of the Market but as time goes on, and this opening move at dismantling Capitalism leaves the news cycle that bid should drop to half the market value.

    Make housing a right, drastically subsidizing the cost of home purchase on a sliding scale so it's cheapest for the poorest.

    During this process, more and more people will have the government for a landlord. For these people offer rent-to-buy schemes, where the rent dollars are paying the mortgage price. Once an amount is paid, the renter gets the deed to the home.

    Soon all home sales would be done for people to use the actual properties being bought, and homelessness would be greatly reduced.

    I say all this because to dismantle Capitalism you need a feasible plan for all the sectors being targeted.

    But most of all you need this plan so you can demand your leftist party to take action on it. You need something to point to, and say THIS, this is what we want you to do. Saying "dismantle Capitalism" is not enough.

    ...and in all honesty, you'll most likely have to run for office, and create the party yourself if you want anything like this to happen.

  • Well, that's all very idealistic, but it's likely not going to happen.

    Israel already used AI to pick bombing sites, those bombs and missiles would have been programmed with altitudes and destinations (armed) then dropped. The pilots only job these days is to avoid interception, fly over the bombing locations, tag the target when acquired, and drop them. Most of this is already done in software.

    Eventually humans will leave the loop because unlike self-driving cars, these technologies won't risk the lives of the aggressor's citizens.

    If the technology is seen as unstoppable enough, there may be calls for warnings to be given, but I suspect that's all the mercy that will be shown...

    ... especially if it's a case of a country with automated technologies killing one without or with stochastically meaningless defenses (eg. Defenses that modelling and simulations show won't be able to prevent such attacks).

    No, in all likelihood the US will tell the country the attack sites, the country either will or will not have the technical level to prevent an amount of damage, will evacuate all necessary personal, and whoever doesn't get the message or get out in time will be automatically killed.

    Where defenses are partially successful, that information will go into the training data for the next model, or upgrade, and the war machine will roll on.

    I don't think they'd actually respond. Also TikTok is only partially Chinese owned.

    That said the US would probably have to make a strong case TikTok is being used to convey Chinese propaganda in a way that's irrevocable or uncontrollable.

  • Only the losing side is subject to war crimes trials, and no doubt rules of engagement will be developed and followed to prevent people going to jail due to "bad kills".

    There are really no "bad kills" in the armed services, there's just limited exposure of public scandals.

    Especially for the US who doesn't subject its self to international courts like The Hague. So any atrocities, accidents, or war crimes will still just be internal scandals and temporary.

    Same as it is today.
