Thought I was missing something with the flag outfits, but it seems the artist does all their characters with different flags.

Ignorant question: that's the St George flag, yes? Without getting too political, is that flag still used? I think my only exposure to that was from This is England, which didn't put it in the best light in a modern context.

Nice! It's good to see something like this that isn't AI. It's depressing to have to check so often anymore.

This last week or so, I've seen a ton of rescues and bigger wildlife photographers doing AI caricatures of themselves with wildlife and having fun with it. I don't begrudge them a good time, but I'm also subbed to them because I trust them to not be using AI and misrepresenting wildlife. Once they start to promote it, now I have to be on the lookout for it all over again.

I've played with AI image generation a bit, and for me as a newb, all my results looked fairly random, but these all seem to have a particular style, so perhaps it is a single person "gifting" these images to the people, but at least a few have made it seem like it was their experiment. Sigh...

I do try to entertain you guys, but I also want to share education in wildlife, but since I just do this as a hobby, it becomes a lot of work to have to scrutinize things so much. I really miss a (relatively) honest Internet. 😮‍💨

Owls may not be the smartest, but they can still be wise! Most days I'd be happier if I just stayed in bed. 😁

The first stream I was using to watch it was from Canada, so I just mainly got patriotic Canadian ads, but that stopped and I ended up on one from Sky Sports. Since it was the UK, I got the bonus of no ads at all!

It seemed pretty good, but his Spanish is at a higher level than mine. The choreography was really good, and the music was fun and energetic. I liked all the countries getting represented at the end.

I'm watching it on a Canadian stream, so the commercials feel strange. I get the Canadian propaganda instead of the American stuff, people are saying "zed" instead of "zee", etc.

I looked for pics of owls playing with footballs today, but there were just a few videos, which are a pain to convert, and different people's own Superb Owl events, which are too specific to share here. They'll probably all come in tomorrow 😔
