U need to reflash uboot and it only possible via dissambly cause uboot is bios of phones Any button will not work because button responses is coming from uboot firmware
Depends from usecase ,mint better when u need deal with some old hardware like old canon printers,scanners cause u can manually install firmware in root folders,I stopped liking bazzite because of switching from KDE appss on qt to gtk while they building it on KDE what point of this moves ,build then on gnome of something what use gtk based environment.That I switched to kinoite and just install software I needed ,installed it to my elderly people too ,installed codecs and that's it
I had a similar experience when elderly people insisted on having YouTube's recommendation algorithm, without understanding how it actually works. For me personally no,they both over bloated with many useless tools,why installing custom terminals dozens no need containers waydroid and else .From my case what elderly was need is browser and office and some social apps that it nothing more
VP9 is actually very good when it comes to reducing file size without a big hit to quality. It usually gives you smaller files than H.265 for the same visual result.
AV1 takes that a step further. It’s currently the best option if your goal is to get the smallest file size while keeping as much of the original quality as possible. It’s more efficient than both H.265 and VP9 in that regard.
The only tradeoff is that AV1 takes longer to encode, especially on CPUs without dedicated hardware support but for archiving purposes where speed isn’t critical, it’s often worth it.
