  • It's late here and I'm tired so I first read "I sleep in the poo of god" and thought about it for a while before reading the rest of the sentence and then reading the whole thing again...

  • why?

  • No pocket sand or ravioli without pockets

  • Yeah, Infrastruktur Apokalypse

  • It's similar in Germany, at least parts of it

  • What an evil grin

  • Yeah, that's the placebo effect as far as I know. Side effects are the nocebo effect.

  • One of my employeers had a multiple megabytes SPA with a shitload of dependencies (Angular) in production that was just a glorified upload form. All the heavy lifting and verification was done by the backend anyways and it was a pain to upgrade, especially with angular major updates etc.

Since we replaced it with a vanilla HTML upload form and some templating to display feedback from the backend no more maintenance was necessary and the users and testers where still happy.

  • Well it's correct behavior. Websites from the 90s should load instantly now. Any website loading longer should deliver some amazing content that was impossible in the 90s

Why do websites have to ship 12 MB of JavaScript before they even start to load? In lots of cases SPA have no benefits for the user and just make everything bloated and complex as hell and due to the insanity of the JavaScript packaging also super hard to keep safe / up to date.

  • Sehr gut. Das gleicht den Unsinn von Merz wieder aus.

  • Also hops contains a powerful phytoestrogen iirc

  • I understand that there's a two digit solution if a three digit solution exists but not for which problem and why that's relevant or interesting for anything.

Also, I keep confusing the Unabomber with the Killdozer guy...

  • And there are drug cartels, could reuse the same playbook.

  • Das wird sicher so genau wie Cum-Ex untersucht, also bis es verjährt ist und dann eh nicht mehr interessiert.

  • Prüfung! Es wird ja nicht mal geprüft

  • I was wondering if e.g. Putin could do that with Zelenskyy and I believe the answer is no. I believe the people would still resist and fight. However, I'm not very sure with my answer.

A resistance of the general population would be hard to break, even with massive military effort. There's a big difference between people fighting for money and people fighting with intrinsic motivation.

  • You're right.

  • Does it bypass the liver? Maybe it has less side effects

  • A guilty pleasure is mine is watching the "best ever food review show" and in one of the episodes he was in Afghanistan and constantly reminding the audience that he's in so much danger because there are people with guns around him and because the Taliban abducted and tortured some American people (which I agree is bad and scary).

However, the US is also full of armed religious extremists and the US also has Guantanamo bay and other black sites to abduct and tortured people. If this scares you, you should be scared of the US too, especially now were they also stated to abduct immigrant looking people to foreign prisons or even abduct people / presidents in other countries.
