  • Indeed, and I thought the deep fried hand was the worst idea

  • The YouTuber "Ordinary Sausage" managed quite a lot of spectacular deep frying failures. It's often bad technique but still...

  • Bei uns Prinzessinnen

  • I don't know why you're being down voted. It's pretty accurate. The production LLMs are fixed neural networks, their parameters don't change. Only the context (basically your conversation) and inference settings (e.g. which predicted tokens are selected) are variable.

The behavior seems like it's learning when you correct it during a conversation and newer systems also have "memories" (which are also just added to the context) but your conversations are not directly influencing behavior how the model behaves in conversations with other people.

For that the neural network parameters need to be changed and that's super expensive, happens only every few months and might be based on user conversations (but most companies say they don't use your conversations for training)

  • What kind of assistance?

  • If we had to explain to a super intelligent and powerful alien why it shouldn't eat us but eating our animals is okay we'd have a big problem.

I believe for us the "non human" aspect is most important for us and which animals are food and which are pets is a cultural thing. Because any other property besides "non human" would eg allow us to eat dumb or disabled humans or to breed special food races of humans.

  • Who designed it? MC Escher?

  • I can't process this image

  • Might be the same issue. Many people do drugs to self medicate their pain

  • Quite interesting. I have to admit I was a long time incel myself and at the time these ideas would've resonated with me as well. Not hate on gay and trans people but on immigrants since they seemed to be more successful with women than me.

  • Sounds plausible but it also a very "long" game, taking at least one additional generation into their teenage years. I guess there are some of them thinking on that level but I have the feeling that the average fascist doesn't plan ahead very far or at has at least a very distorted time perception (e.g. they feel like the white "race" being replaced fearmongering is an urgent topic).

  • I think their view of traditions is also very selective. E.g. in Germany they prefer to connect with paganism and scandinavian things and not actual German / Christian traditions.

  • Hm, I'm not sure. Fascists also sometimes also like their audience to "think differently", e.g. disregard science, "wake up" and see the truth and or connect themselves with veganism and nature.

  • Can someone explain to me why fascists are so obsessed with homosexuality and transgender topics?
