  • Yeah, that's why I blocked them. I don't visit them and insult them. There was a discussion of what about this one was gross, which I didn't start. I answered. There's lots of gross stuff across communities and I block those, too. I don't begrudge people their interests or kinks. I do find some of them gross. I think that's fine, as I'm usually not engaged with those communities.

  • Sure, but nearly all of the furry art I've seen has been porn. I get that there are lifestyles and activities that are not porn-related. Either way if you're into it, you do your thing. I'm probably not going to be commenting on their creativity because I find the whole thing a little creepy, but I also wouldn't limit someone's ability to live that way.

  • Mostly the related art. The amount of yiff communities I had to block to keep their porn out of my feed was surprising. I don't begrudge them their lifestyle. You want to put on something and have sex with somebody, go for it. I'm not into even 1%. The amount of erotic art that exists is beyond astounding to me. Meanwhile, I struggle to find active communities about Halloween, Lego, and various games I play. Granted, I haven't looked lately for new ones, but the ones I subscribed to previously aren't very active.

  • Why use a gun chambered in 6.5cm, 308win, 300wm, or 338lapua for home defense, unless you mean defense of your large estate and need long range? Shotguns are long and unwieldy. I'd go for hand guns with rounds that distort when they hit something so there is less chance of penetration and continuing on. Most likely 22lr or 9mm. 22 has less stopping power, but usually more capacity.

  • I work 40 hours a week (wish it were fewer), but my job consists of helping to set guidelines so that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have effective treatment for problematic behaviors AND that their rights are protected as much as possible. I feel like the work is worthwhile. I should be paid more than I am, but I am paid better than most of the people with whom I work. If they paid me 10-15k more, it would be a pretty great job. As it is, I enjoy a lot of the work I do.

  • I bought my IT guy an Excel mug that said something like Freak in the Sheets. He had been helping me transfer files from one computer to another (old computer had an expanding battery issue) and said he appreciated novelty mugs. He was being a real pal about it. So, I got him a mug. I didn't solve any of his problems, but I did let him vent some about them.

  • I do similar, but not so heavy on the cilantro. Yellow onions are fine, too, but not Vidalia. I don't use tomatillo. I mince my garlic. I only use fresh limes. The avocado to lime and garlic ratio is really important. If you get that how you like it, everything else is a snap. I hand mix mine so that it's more chunky and less homogeneous. It's the hit of every party. My problem is finding enough ripe avocados to make a quantity that feeds everyone.
