    There are multiple solutions, though. Problem is- they’re all either forms of education or legal withholding.

    Emotionally intelligent and technically intelligent folks don’t tend to fall for any form of AI mania. They understand it is a glorified parrot/auto-correct and thus it doesn’t hold any sort of magical or emotional appeal.

    But the USA has gone through great lengths to ensure generations of children are functionally illiterate, emotionally fragile containers which are filled with messages of culture war and other propaganda to feed the war machine that is the USA. This cannot be rectified overnight; indeed not for at least a couple generations AFTER any exceedingly unlikely societal change.

    China’s history over the last 50 years teaches us that change is possible, but only at the expense of the individualistic greed that fuels the USA.

    The fact that another great artist, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, owned this painting once is a bit of art history nerd knowledge that is fun to learn. Bouguereau’s depiction of the human body and skin tones is, in my opinion, the most talented.

  • I agree with you.

    They are all war criminals and fascists, save a few that both parties attack viciously.

    However there are differences and aside from a revolution - which requires people to actually take action and risks- Democrats kill slightly fewer people than Republicans.

    So yeah, I’m still going to vote the lesser evil- at least until I have the chance to stab them both in the back and take them all down.
