  • I am curious if even just a minimal part of it has anything to do with MigSwitch.

If the MigSwitch is really emulating a physical cartridge perfectly and the Switch can't detect it... it can be an issue for a new one, either because they use the same cartridges/security for the new games, as let's be honest I don't see why Nintendo would need a new physical cartridge for this revision, at best a tab like in the 3Ds to not allow them on the old Switch.

And even if it does not affect the new games, the retrocompatible games could be affected and be playable by it.

So some changes could be required physically or by software.

  • I agree that they shouldn't say that,it wasn't announced. But your wording you make it sound like that would be impossible like they would have announced it already, maybe is just me making up things on my mind sorry if that was not your intention.

We are on just February.... like you don't have to announce it on Jan 1, if it releases around Q4 for example.

  • The point is doesn't matter what is visible, they could be storing all the comments edit history and simply not show it.

That only helps for a third party without access to reddit data , which they could have if reddit sells it to them, from scraping the page, yes in that case your comments cannot be used.

  • But there are other situations that manually saving wouldn't be solved and auto saving does.

Like it's easier to lose data if something happens before you manually save it. With auto saving that's more difficult as it is auto saving every x time or x changes. Yeah you could do that manually... every x minutes/work but it's something that clearly should be automated.

The main issue here was assuming something has a feature and that it has it enabled without checking if it does.

  • All my scrapping scripts go to shit...please no, I need automation to live...

  • Yeah man... I wish they knock me out, ugh even if doesn't hurt... it's eternal I just want it to end....

Although I would feel like that guy in the new tv show of Ted that doesn't trust it and I would be afraid of saying some weird thing/secret...

And ugh lucky I don't go there anymore... my previous dentist talked to me...but like sometimes asked questions, like man I have this thing hat sucks the water and you are working on my mouth... don't ask shit and continue working.

  • Well actually you got confused as I am not the guy who did say "disk drives", that's somebody else.

In any case I understood you as talking about the non BluRay indicating they are common in builds.

I mentioned BluRays because that's the only one that nowadays could make sense to have and could be common to add to a build, but not even that is being used commonly due to being expensive and basically only used by movies and those are usually played elsewhere.

I honestly don't think most people would bother building a new PC with a normal disk drive, they are completely useless. New games/software/video/music are digital or use BluRays, except music I guess. And any other uses has been replaced with external USB drives or other mediums as those are better in many ways. So unless you have some specific need it's worthless and if you have a need a external USB disk drive is more practical.

  • Idk about now... But BluRay Disk drives were quite expensive and not worth it, only worth it if you could burn Blu rays but those were even more expensives. So not common at all. Even physical games that could have benefit from then used just multiple DVDs instead, like the Flight Simulator 2020 which uses likes 10 DVDs

  • Impossible, internet has this advanced system that ensures complete integrity between strangers and ensures that only the truth and only the truth can be shared.

  • But don't they have some sort of remote control? Does it need a technician to see that somebody just put a random cone in there?

  • Oh come on we were so close to all be words that start with "b".... The of could be replaced with a by,... But the allegedly, I have troubles with it.

Bazaar by Bezos buries bargains, ¿belivedly?

  • Ok.... But is ££8 more expensive than £8?

  • I don't think she see much of the ceiling if anything either.

  • For a second on my mind I Imagined a butt dildo with a night vision camera at the top... I am not going to check if that exists.

  • A 4K USD electronic device that's what they bought....if they needed its features not sure but... that's what they bought.

  • Well the repo link yes... create a new repo and migrate everything.... just so the url doesn't say core no more it's quite unnecessary.

And to be honest actual code is currently under https://github.com/dotnet/dotnet The other links is just for news and docs currently.

  • .net core is not a thing anymore in case somebody it's not aware, now is just .net. (unless you use really old version of course).

  • So... Where I have to apply?

  • I mean... it's quite different for nuclear there has been some big international incidents and it's something that hurted people directly plus invisible stuff that can kill you usually is terrifying. Knowing that a similar technology is used for bombs that cause terrible destruction didn't help either.

So even though it can be done with no risks... Is quite understandable people being afraid of it.

Like the whale thing is nothing in comparison.
