  • Exactly that. Happened to me this summer. It was really cold the whole summer and I was outside one day underdressed for a couple hours and I was freezing. Got sick a day later and was out of it for 3 days with all the symptoms of a cold. I had not been sick for a couple years like that. To me at least that was definitive proof you can get sick by being too cold and weakening your immune system.

  • Tbh I think the plastic coins came around more as a convenience. If you have one in your wallet you always have the option of taking the trolley. You might not always have coins or the right sized coins. At least I know I don't have any coins most of the time.

  • Yeah I am not trying to detract from your experience. Just saying that even in cases where public transport is a bit better it still makes sense to have a car. If I lived in the capital I could get pretty much anywhere just using the buses and that would be fine. But outside the capital it just does not work
