I just wasted about a half hour of my time skimming through it. I remember upon first hearing about Russiagate that an infant could tell it was nonsense. Vague claims of hacking something or other, and being upset at Russia for exposing dirt on Hillary. The whole thing seemed manufactured.
This report seems just as manufactured and infuriatingly vague. It could be that it's too hard to refute such vague claims, or it could just be a whole lot of finger pointing (I'm leaning towards that one). Regardless, it's really not worth wasting my time thinking about it.
I am going to get the popcorn out to watch the US president cage match though. I doubt much of anything will come of it, but it's sure to be entertaining, and I like seeing the capitalist class doing some infighting.
I left my bike at the distribution centre and walked. But my partner actually made that drive. I still think walking was faster though. But it doesn't matter that much... You'll be out of the tutorial area soon. My advice is to just go. You'll get things that can traverse faster than a bike later in the game, and you can come back and 5 star things in that area later.
Also, just a tiny bit later in the game you'll have bikes coming out of your ears. It's fine to just abandon them when they're no longer convenient.
Edit: Also, there's a mechanic in the game that makes a path over your most travelled routes. So it gets easier the next time around.
I wasn't able to find what brought that on in the modlog, and his whole posting history was deleted(!). I was really curious about what he said, and after having found and read it... wow. Thank you.
I haven't played it yet, but in a similar vein, Squad 22: ZOV is a recent Russian game that depicts the Ukraine war. The American response was also quite predictable. Although it is heartening to see a number of steam reviewers calling them out for review bombing it.
On the Ukraine front, Russia is definitely still winning. You can check the maps yourself for the high level. I'm not sure where these 10s of miles are that they advancing, but I don't see it on a map of Ukraine.
On the lower level, the Ukrainian armed forces appears to just barely be holding on. Most of their true believers are dead, and they are increasingly relying on people that they kidnapped. They are taking massive disproportionate casualties, and as we can clearly observe from NATO panic, Russia is winning in the materiel war as well. This is a war of attrition, and Russia is decisively winning. Hell, even the messaging from on high has changed from saying that Ukraine is winning to Ukraine can still win if NATO just sanctions a bit more and sends more guns. This is also not working, and NATO knows that they cannot keep up with even their existing pace forever.
I mean, she's not wrong. This is exactly how the US has behaved since its inception. It really is the American way. And the US regime really does need to be confronted.
I'm honestly not sure that there is a plan. It's just racism with a side of exceptionalism. The idea is that the great and powerful US military can bomb anyone they want with impunity, so long as they aren't a nuclear power. And with the meerest hint of possibility that Iran might become a nuclear power soon, it's a good time to go bombing again. They've been talking for years about how much they wanted to.
I love the claim that invading another country is always wrong, followed up by saying that we should not support Germany in WW2. The whole argument is built upon nonsense.
Or they will later say that it was a senseless tragedy that shouldn't have happened. Like Vietnam.
Vietnam was started with a false flag attack. Because they wanted to forcibly remove Ho Chi Minh. Because they knew that if an election were held, he would win. Because they couldn't stand the idea of a country halfway around the world having a government that they didn't like.
So millions of deaths later, they're like "Oops! Those poor soldiers had to do terrible things."
These people are so infuriating. They turn a blind eye to every war that the west starts (including Ukraine). But when someone dares to fight back, they all band together to condemn whoever dared to do so. And no amount of documentation will EVER change their minds. In this case even western media is starting to tell the truth, and they STILL won't have it.
