  • I did end up finding a multi pen/pencil I really like. I typically have blue and red ink in it along with a pencil lead tip:

  • My Roborock has been serving me well for over a year, even the home assistant integration has been painless. I’ve never had a different brand so reading your post makes me feel very fortunate. I actually recently ordered some new rollers and mop pad and was pleased how serviceable it is.

  • I like that there’s multiple spellings of words, gives me a better success rate.

  • Holy shit, that’s insane

  • If our scientists learn magic why are they going through all that instead of just casting some spells to alter the atmosphere to optimal parameters for human life? They could even replenish oil wells so we can keep drilling perpetually. Maybe they should cast some spells for agricultural and fresh drinkable water production and such also. If scientists used their magic more efficiently we probably wouldn’t even have this issue to begin with.

  • Ah ok, thank you, I was definitely trying to way overthink it for some reason.

  • I think I might be whooshing on why the exchange you shared is funny, or maybe I’m overthinking it?

  • That reminds me of all the effort that was being put into rebuilding SWG. I loved that game, I hopped on and played the rebuild a few times over the years, I should check out if it was ever completed.

  • Thank you, I’ll need to look into it, it was obvious they were synced because they got adjusted for daylight savings from somewhere and they all slowly changed time over the course of an hour if I recall correctly, it always fascinated me.

  • My highschool was small (graduating class under 50; five small towns combined), and in the 90s, ours were synchronized, just realized I always wondered what they used.

  • To give you another data point: It’s what teens and young adults would do in the small ass town in Nebraska I grew up in (80s-90s). Not sure if it’s still a thing as I’m never going back.

  • Public transit, healthcare (including dental and mental), shelter, food, water, communication (mail, cellular, internet), social community events/activities, and yes even defense is where taxes should go. There’s enough to go around to cover all of it if greedy mother fuckers would get their grimy ass hands out of the cookie jar. I hope I see the day before my days are done.

  • Hi Mateo! Huge fan!

  • You guys are all creative/smart. I would have held my ruler against the line and then traced around it with my pencil.

  • Thank you for taking the time to respond, I only ever played the sims 1 base game. I might have to go sailing tonight and give it a shot.

  • I’m so far removed from the sims, I only have the first one. So if you bomb everything does it get rebuilt over time? Is the game worth getting into a recent version? I’ve stayed away because it sounded like they started charging for a bunch of crap after buying the game but I could also use a time sink kind of game.

  • Thank you got the comment, I never even considered the risk as someone running an instance.
