  • Not alone. The only way is to organize. They're often at local Palestine protests, so the trick is to find those, then get connected to people at them.

Jewish Voice for Peace is often at them. Someone else named another organization above. PSL has had a lot over the last year and a half, too.

  • His Vice President, though? Who Dems miraculously expected to get credit for his successes, but not his failures?

  • I think they're pretty obviously a troll. Just surprisingly committed to the bit.

  • It's insane that we have laws forcing us to work with and not criticize a particular foreign sovereign state. It's literal madness, like it breaks my brain lol.

  • Sure dude. What's happening in the West Bank completely disproves that this has anything to do with Hamas or hostages.

  • Okay, so you're just playing with words, like a djinn or the devil in every movie they're in lol. A genocide is happening my dude. We all knew what they meant when they kept trying to say they were working for a ceasefire and what they were trying to portray. If they had an intern write a character a day in an eventual handwritten note they would snail mail to Netanyahu's office after a year and a half asking them to politely please stop the attacks, then you'd consider that as them "working everyday" for the ceasefire, when we would know they weren't? Miss me with that shit.

They're not really trying at all for something if they're not using easily available options. If I went to work and said I got nothing done this for two years because I needed some report from some other team that I never actually asked for directly and never emailed them about, it would be fair if everyone thought I lied in my performance review about how hard I worked. That's essentially what this former Israeli ambassador revealed, even though we all kind of knew it anyway.

Contrast that with Trump who came in and immediately started demanding a ceasefire deal. Trump! The biggest fucking biggest idiot in the world. It's how they got one done, even if it only lasted a short time, it was some relief for a bit.

“What happened,” a senior Israeli government official told Channel 14, regarded as a mouthpiece for Netanyahu, “is that Witkoff delivered a stern message from the incoming president of the United States, who unequivocally demanded the deal’s conclusion.”

Writing in the daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth this week, Nadav Eyal summed up the situation confronting Israel’s prime minister and his closest aides. “Netanyahu … suddenly came to recognise precisely where it is that they stand with the new American president. They came to realise that Trump speaks at dictation pace, and they will never be able to outflank him from the right. Trump, once again, wants a deal.” The Guardian

    Bide never demanded shit.

  • Ooh, this is a good one.

  • That wouldn't be tirelessly working for a ceasefire at all.

  • How is the slight amount of aid they sent any proof of trying to stop it? They also could've come out against Netanyahu at any time, or forced his hand by stopping the delivering or fast tracking of weapons (by using the US's own laws) but he didn't. It was very clearly a lie that they were working tirelessly for a ceasefire.

  • The internet has made people truly paranoid lol.

  • Why not encourage people to stay and fight?

  • Trump seems to be consolidating to focus on Iran (and it's allies) and China. He's not going to fight Europe. If anything, he'll try to get them to help by threatening NATO membership or something.

  • I don't think Russia has money either from all the sanctions. This all strikes me as extremely unlikely. They can't even get through Ukraine lol.

But maybe they're just exaggerating to justify war spending just in case.

  • Uh what... Why do you think Israel is able to block aid to Gaza, and stop their power, trash, food, water intake, and ability to travel?

It's because they never left. They've always been occupiers who have controlled their territory.

  • 100%. The West Bank is proof. They are being slaughtered and ethnically cleansed from there with no recourse. You need guns to defend yourselves against genociders, WW2 proved that. Hamas, and similar groups, are the only ones willing to carry guns and actually defend their people.

  • Orrrrr, now hear me out, we ratchet up the propaganda, black listing, and police responses to protests. Eh?

  • Because you're stopping at an arbitrary point to give in to bigots.

  • Didn't know they changed owners. That's unfortunate.

  • Thanks!!!
