  • Don't engage if you think it could turn violent.

If you would like to talk, I will not talk here but you can dm me. I'm not an accelerationist, no one really is.

  • Yeah, well, I have a lot of people that I work with so my experience is relevant to this question. We are not preparing for a revolution, we're worried about the breakdown of civil society in America.

  • I didn't vote for Harris. I fucking hate that woman. I'm a communist, not a liberal.

If she had changed on Gaza I would have voted for her.

  • I understand the despair. And the desire to flee. And the desire for normalcy. I, too, could choose brunch, even now under the trump administration. I can also afford to flee.

But I don't and you shouldn't. We must build a better world.

As long as I have strength, I will work to build that vision here, in my home. With the friends and neighbors I've cultivated.

  • I'm going to give you an actual answer.

The federal crackdowns will breed resistance.

Resistance will cause the fascists to use more brutality. It is all they know how to do.

What do you think is going to happen? There is no vanguard or army to fight against the state abusing it's people.

  • Better than a genocider lol

I voted for the lesser evil

  • Lol.

Friend. I spend all of my time organizing and working with my community. The only way out is through. And the only way through is building strong communities.

You should adjust your attitude. There are many good people doing good work on the ground.

  • So maybe you should try something else

  • I voted for her but like I'm not a liberal so..

  • My revolution? No one is advocating for a glorious revolution. You're learning about the limits of electoral politics in a capitalist system. Your solution to this is to give up? That's your right if that's what you want.

But I don't think you'll actually have a choice about dying in this way.

And I think if you're going to just give up then telling others how to vote is pretty rude.

  • It's not a "gotcha". If your goal was to vote out trump, you failed. That tactic did not work. How you evaluate that as tactically sound, I'm not sure.

Furthermore, I think your tactic leaves you in a strategically untenable situation.

  • You should evaluate your tactics and evaluate the limits of electoralism then. And you should adjust accordingly.

  • Ok. How was this successful tactically?

  • Are you like 15?

  • Thank you for your service o7

  • How is it relevant? Are you serious? How are you claiming this is imperialism? It's an island that a murderous dictator fled to after losing a bloody civil war. It was then recognized as "China" at the UN for years. Like how is reunification==imperialism in your mind?

  • Are you unaware of the history of Taiwan? How it became "independent"?

  • I am saying that objectively looking at the outcome of the election means that running and supporting a pro genocide campaign was a tactical and strategic failure. You shouldn't do that in the future.

  • Well there's the same amount of genocide. But yes, we agree, and that means voting this way was a tactical and strategic failure.
