I feel the someway about people who say "I'm moving to Linux after W10 support ends".

I think it takes one of two things for people to move.

Linux has to have several features that are unavailable on Windows that makes it worth swapping.
Windows has to do something so egregious that they no longer consider it viable.

In my case, I swapped back 3 years ago when ads appeared in explorer for a preview version. In combination with the work the community had done for Valve to consider the steam deck worth selling with Linux, I was confident enough that I could have a good enough experience with Linux.

A healthcare reform will need to be passed by congress. The president has no control over that.

The cable is only rated for so much power, which could be too much for double 8 pins. Having two operated cables ensures it can handle the load.

I personally used a single cable that carried double 8 pin. At some point, I had issues with my system crashing under GPU load. After investigating, I found that the GPU wasn't getting the power it needed from the PSU. Looking at the cable, it had started to melt the plastic with the connector in the PSU. I replaced the cable and it was fine, but now I only use one cable per 8 pin connector.

I would say its still open source. There is no requirement to be able to contribute modifications back. It is more about the availability of the code and what you can do with it.

I do think it's funny when people hate the way Microsoft has directed Windows when Apple is way worse.

No more acquisitions. They are large enough with all of the studios that they have bought. If they can't compete at their current size, then they deserve to fail.

Battle.net games run well on Linux in general. The only issues I usually have is with their client itself.

The issue is the left doesn't advertise what people want to hear from the left. They see adds about social changes, and they don't care as much. If the left can push and promote policies that helps everyday people, even those on the right, people would be happier. Push for universal healthcare, free/cheap higher education, affordable housing, higher wages. Democrats haven't done enough to push these policies or promote them, so people don't get excited enough to go out and vote.

We should have forced a change when they pushed Hillary over Bernie in 2016. They need to give us candidates that excited people and get them out to vote. The more people that vote, the better Democrats do.

It's not impossible for people to prefer Trump on certain policies while still wanting abortion to be legal.

It's why so many red states are trying to get it thru amendment because they know their state will never pass a bill to legalize it.

These abortion amendments passing have been the only good thing about this election.
