  • Hogs?

  • I had like 2 friends back in my CS 1.6 days that insisted on Xfire, but I paid for a Mumble server shortly after that. Might self host one again...

  • Shit, I forgot avout Xfire. Mumble and Teamspeak are still going too

  • I'm so tired of this refrain. 49% of 64% of US voters voted for him, but even that is an oversimplification. The reality is that in some regions it is hard to vote. Waiting in line for hours. It is not a national holiday, so no pay for taking time off to wait in line. Polls often have limited times, and people in the US work too much just to stay alive. And that does not even take into account electoral college bullshit. The right has done so much to make voting hard or even impossible for some.

The US is vast and diverse, which makes hand waving dismissals like this even more frustrating.

  • Yeah, there is that. There is also the fact that even going to the source I cannot find the actual study/data. No idea the sample size, method, or even list if questions. Mostly this feels like clickbait from PC Gamer.

  • By the time the Cybertruck came out we knew what Elon was. This is not about all Teslas on the road. The article is, but the comment was specifically about Cybertrucks

  • Also see a lot in the Seattle area. Plenty of suckers in any given population center

  • It does not for me.

  • Check local architectural salvage or second use building supplies. At least around me they tend to have a lot of awesome stuff like the trim in the pictures.

  • Adding more to your point, voter turnout was 64%, so less than half of less than two-thirds of registered voters voted for him.

  • Altman already has plenty of mud on him.

  • Yup, it sucks. I found out right before i was about to pay for their speech to text keyboard, so doged that.

  • Fair. Did not know about the nuance, but in this case it was mostly just pointing out the BBC was not being callous.

  • Does anyone outside the Brits use it though? All this tells you is they are not from the UK

  • That is just the British term for being laid off/fired.

  • The problem for me is the longevity. Tapes degrade faster with time and use compared to CDs or digital downloads.

  • I was the weird holdout still using Pandora. Their radio option always seemed to work better for me than other streaming services. Thanks to this post I learned they are worse than Spotify for artists, though, so I am trying Qobuz literally starting today. So far, so good. Don't feel like any artists are missing, the quality is really good, and they pay the most of the streaming services.
