  • I wasn't a fan of that post, especially that you implied the situation was different in China.

Birth rate is a problem in China.

Too much the-west-and-the-rest stuff on Hexbear.

  • Usan politics is a form of brain damage.

It's impossible to read this and not feel your mind shrink. I know what the words mean but there's no sense to be found.

  • Remember when the anti-AI crowd said that image-generators would never be able to get fingers right?

  • Grok, what is the rate of home ownership for young people in China?

  • !noyank@lemmy.ml has pretty good variety. It's an internationalist culture comm.

  • That's unanimous.

  • I just feel like: if my life isn't where I wanted it to be by this point, why should I be courteous to others.

They promise everyone their personal wishes will be fulfilled, and then when they're not they take that as license to act like psychopaths.

What a fucked up culture. arethewoidsok

  • Along the lines of https://www.herbivorizepredators.org/

could we launch a massive bio-engineering project to remove all scandalous and non-monogamous mating habits from the animal kingdom???

  • Amazing

  • We need to do real capitalism! Real capitalism has never been tried!!

  • That argument never made sense to me.

The brain continually changes while you're alive.

Is there really some process that stops at 26 for everyone? Sounds like newspaper-science.

  • yo' dick

  • Swords are kinda interesting to experience.

Think how scared you'd be if someone confronted you with a butcher knife. Well swords are worse than butcher knives. Swords are blades designed to harm people (butcher knives are designed to cleave pork knuckles etc.)

One thing that's surprising the first time you experience it is how fast the sword moves. A small movement of the wrist that takes maybe 0.1 seconds makes the tip of the blade travel one metre.

  • illl give the liberals that yeh magas a scam yeh

  • U.N have occupied Haiti on multiple occasions

  • I don't think it's so hard to understand. There's an ick-factor in people who seem needy, or who your values allow you to shun as desperate.

Working at a giant snail’s pace a boon for Ivorian farmers. As wild snail numbers have steadily fallen, farms that specialise in breeding them have increasingly sprung up.
