  • And must be reviewed first by the Ministry of Truth.

  • Dumb people are proud to be dumb...and they also vote.

  • Trump: We didn't pay anything for the stock.

I'll always continue to be amazed at how stupid he, and the general public that supports him are.

  • Time for wildcat strikes to come back. The reason the federal government officially recognized unions, was because wildcat strikes were too powerful. They pretended to make concessions while stopping the thing they feared.

  • Sure, the Wikipedia article is about the United States Consumer Price Index, which is not the same as inflation.

  • I'm guessing most people don't know food price isn't calculated into inflation in the U.S.

  • The wikipedia article says thousands of students did die at these schools and are buried in unmarked graves.

There have been bodies found at some sites, but there's a site where the native population claimed there was a mass grave and no bodies have been found yet.

The Catholic church ran a massive ad campaign about this one site to try to push the narrative that no bodies has been found anywhere.

  • It's from 2021. The kid did make the fake Nintendo from a box, but he wasn't given a cease and desist letter, he wasn't sued by Nintendo, and he also didn't receive a Nintendo. Nothing else happened.

  • General public: I'm going to make wild assumptions about something I don't know anything about, and also spend 0 time verifying if my assumptions are correct.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is an Act passed in 1996 that primarily had the objectives of enabling workers to carry forward healthcare insurance between jobs, prohibiting discrimination against beneficiaries with pre-existing health conditions, and guaranteeing coverage renewability multi-employer health insurance plans.

  • In the U.S., project 2025.

  • Not the person who replied, but I think they asking will the utility be forgotten? Or will the fact that it was re-written in rust be forgotten?

  • Striking helps, solidarity striking helps more, but wildcat strikes are the best.

If you haven't heard of them, they're the reason the U.S. federal government started to recognize unions, but gave the caveat that unions had to announce they would strike.

With wildcat strikes, there's no announcement, you just do it. It fucked with the upper class so much they recognized unions to outlaw wildcat striking.

  • Do you code with the monitor turned the wrong way so you can't see what you typed? Microsoft wants to hire you.

  • This is exactly what right wing media will say, and their cultists will believe it.

  • I live in the U.S., and my state capitol is spelled Pierre, but pronounced "peer".

  • If you're using distilled water there's not enough minerals in the water to start the boiling process before the temperature crosses 100 C because microwaves heat it up so fast.

It also doesn't necessarily have to be distilled water, but the the closer it is to just H2O, the higher the chance this will happen.

  • I think the big issue with centrists is they pay absolutely no attention to what's really happening, but wear the term "centrist" like a badge of honor.

So on one end we have Nazis, and the other end we have Democrats who are mostly Center-Right, and then the centrists try to find the middle of that but not having any idea if what that means.

And then we keep getting the enshitification of the U.S.
