Someone once pointed out to me "Oh but what about this one?" to which I replied, "Ah, so trans women athletes are only a 'problem' when they succeed."
The unintended message here is that someone else put a whole bunch of work into mining actual diamonds, and then cutting them into jewels, only for theives to tunnel in to steal them.
Consider that the only difference between a woman marrying a man and a woman marrying a woman is the sex/gender of one of the people. They have to figure out how to overturn the Civil Rights Act of 1964 first. That's the one that says you can't discriminate based on sex/gender (not sure which term is most appropriate here).
It is my firm belief that the third box (justice) has failed, because the fascists are doing whatever they want right now, every day, every minute, and the courts are reactive, compromised, slow, and do not apply sufficiently deterrent consequences.
I expressed my extreme frustration very clearly by asking "What are the consequences for violating this court order, and when do they take effect?" and the responses I received were wholly unsatisfactory. I pointed that out as well. I knew that would be the case; I was posing the question in order to elicit the unsatisfactory replies, and then pointing out how bad those replies were, so that the other people in attendance might at least see that perspective, or know that other people share it.
There's a court order to not be fucking doing that. Report those via the link above. (I know it's a link shortener, I learned this from ACLU yesterday.)
