  • I had a director that just couldn't do it. Took 47 tries for him to login. Didn't matter what computer they used. I checked to make sure there wasn't any outside source locking them out. They just weren't able to do it.

  • Check your local library and government career agencies. They sometimes have free or cheap classes for computer literacy.

The for dummies series of books works well for some too. Just be cautious not to use an outdated one.

CBT Nuggets has great videos for more intermediate and advanced topics too.

  • I'm almost done watching the 7th prince. I must say it's been fabulous, the characters are so fun. It's an classic OP isekai junk food anime, and I'm loving every bite.

  • I'd suggest using an acrylic mesh or preserve the metal one.

If you eliminate that mesh your limited cooling will be worse.

But if you left a quarter inch around the panel and had a suitable chunk of acrylic that would probably be fine.

So you'd need to measure twice the space you'd like to use. Don't try to use woodworking tools on metal. Perhaps ask a trusted friend or family member to help you. Your internal space will be very small, so outside may be easier.

  • In my humble opinion that was probably the best windows of its era. Windows XP sp2 was the most important change with its own firewall.

  • My experience trying to learn other languages has been that it's a lifelong process.

Japan's writing system is rather complex. It has three primary forms and mixed together. Your familiarity with Cantonese & Mandarin may help with kanji (but also be a source of confusion, as they share some similarities).

However, their speech has regional dialects and some of their phrases requires an understanding of their history and culture.

The monogatari series has been cited as extremely dense to understand for foreigners, but would be an excellent candidate for practicing your comprehension skills.

Side thought: How do you feel about the dub of this series? It's often credited as being very high quality.

  • Censorship, mosaics, black bars. That kinda thing, it's ridiculous, achieves nothing.

  • They need to be local or willing to help me move to them.

Online relationships are nice but I wanna cuddle. 😭

  • I try not to do that.

But sometimes the scene is really dry or too cringe for me.

I'll catch myself texting people or browsing image galleries.

  • What's worse is when the compiler throws a warning you have unused variables. But you know that's untrue.

  • "Let's agree to disagree"

This solves nothing, it just equates to a polite way of saying I'm done talking to you.

  • Hidive is probably the last good one, unless something changed in recent times.

  • If you used a transparent PNG you might be able to make it look like it's popping out of the UI.

  • Steam engines, clockwork and balloons. Hopefully they turn into a steampunk society.

  • RIP FUNimation you didn't deserve this.

  • Wash your hands. Maybe have it checked out at a clinic.

But by the sounds of it you'd really enjoy fermented soy beans and black dragon rolls.
