  • My mom bought me a little Leatherman squirt on my birthday in 2010 and I've been carrying it ever since. 15 years on it's still my most consistent EDC Carry.

  • Just did the $5 donation on patreon. It's on a lot but I hope it helps, I might not agree with everything the founders believe in but I really appreciate this open sourced community and the ideas and conversations I've had on it. It's definitely worth supporting

  • Proton or mulvad

  • I quit a higher paying job to move to the Columbia River gorge. Sure I make a lot less money but I'm so happy being out in this beautiful area. There's something calming about it

  • Yeah it's paid. They have a good rep for privacy

  • I prefer manga because usually* it's longer per chapter and I'd like to read left to right then up and down but I do like all and read all.

  • I feel like auto correct and voice to text aren't as good as they used to be. AI, laziness, I'm more of an idiot not sure who to blame.

  • I've been using Kagi for a near a year now and it's pretty good. Reminds me of old Google

  • Fuck

I'm not kidding, I use it all the time.

  • Wow that's super interesting. I just signed up for Lemmy last month and I just googled what to sign up for and .Ml was the first one that came up. Fuck tankies and fuck commies so I guess I'm definitely going to get lumped into them for now. Oh well

  • Its steam OS isn't good or isn't fully cooked I might grab bazzite and check it out

  • I might have to give it a shot. I only use my computer for gaming so since I'm familiar with the steam deck I figured holo OS or steam OS or whatever it's called would be nice. I'll wait to see some reviews before I do it

  • Yeah once windows 10 is done I'm moving to Linux. Use mint on the laptop but I'll install it on my main PC unless valve launches steam os

  • About time.

  • If you ever start playing Warhammer 40k the miniature game and plan on building your own miniatures use magnets on the weapons. A lot of models come with 2 or 3 different weapons that are good for different situations IE better anti tank, fly, infantry ect. Instead of buying the same model 3 times building and painting it you can buy one, attach small magnets to the weapons and the part of the body they attach to, then you can switch them out on the fly. I didn't do that when I started and it gave me a lot of issues with some of the armies I played against.
