Not the same thing, but just the other day I accidentally started speaking French in the middle of a conversation in Spanish, and it took me a minute to understand why the guy suddenly couldn't understand me
Came back to tell you that I made the mistake of trying to browse lemmy before I had fully come down from my shroom trip earlier today, and this was the first post I saw and I had a bad fucking time lol
I feel like it still works colloquially though. E.g., "Do you have any idea how much Netflix costs these days? It's through the roof!" sounds totally normal to my ears
Before reading the justification, I thought the idea was that it would prevent you from eating the whole pint because the spoon is too uncomfy to put up with for more than a few scoops lol
