I was just playing Tarkov and found a friendly player scav who wanted to take the co-op extract for the first time since the full release. But on our way over I hit some combination of key and discord opened up this unclosable window on my screen and wouldn't let me do anything except move my mouse. I was in the middle of the street when this happened. While I was panicking trying to close this thing, an AI scav started shooting me and my pscav buddy stood in front of him to protect me and wound up getting clipped in the head. I uninstalled it. Everyone should move back to teamspeak.
I'm embarrassed that I looked into this previously. It's almost offensive to the actual victims that people are trying to make this a thing. If there's one thing to take away from the files that we have, it's that these people are not good at hiding their crimes, they're just good at getting away with them. We don't need to invent atrocities.
This is mostly true, but one of the professors that I've had issues with ended up giving my contested marks back and then nitpicking the rest of work to death within the bounds of the rubrics. I ended up withdrawing. It just isn't worth it. Nobody is going to read my papers after I finish the course.
I am very far along in my academic career. I have just once piece of advice: don't fight your professor's ideology. The third time I had to go the dean of the department to complain about my professor giving me poor marks because they disagreed with politically was the last time, because now I just write whatever shitty paper they want. It's easier, it will save you from getting retaliated against, and it doesn't matter.
He got off worse than Reagan, which is saying something. He got "punished" about as harshly as any person who doesn't have their entire head up their ass would expect a president of the US to be, which is barely.
I'm watching this show. I'm not a big fan or anything, but I like peasants and middle ages stuff. I could do without all the silly names and magic, but we don't get many high production medieval media anymore. Anyway, I feel the show was edited to be released all at once on HBO Max but someone decided to put it out weekly. Infuriating. They've gone through maybe 2 story beats in 5 eps. Just let me binge my slop.
Yes, it's mostly nostalgia bait. There are two main benefits for using a safety razor though. If you have a substantial beard they clog less; not an issue if you shave every day but that's getting less common. And if you have sensitive skin they irritate less because you're dragging less blades across your skin. I use a safety razor with the nicest blades I can get because my skin is like a 15th century noble woman's.
Have you considered writing a book about this? I think it's an interesting idea that could be explored in more detail.
