  • everyone on the New York State sex offender registry was banned

You do see how this is still silly though, right? No sympathy forremoveds, I'm just saying it's funny that they had their video games taken away.

  • My wife has an EV and I've driven and ridden in it just fine. But I once took a Lyft in one and the driver was driving it like a gas vehicle (lifting fully off the throttle and applying brakes), and I was pretty queasy by the end. You're supposed to drive them like golf carts, with only one pedal unless you need to stop very quickly. You brake normally by feathering the throttle.

  • Look what they've done to my boy.

  • Also, you have all the money in the world, and the best thing you can think to do with your hog is make it bigger? What about grafting on a second one? A third one? My surgeons would be sweating when they see I've booked a consultation. "He wants another ass cheek and goat horns this time".

  • 100%

  • This is a common question because we're taught about the water cycle, but it's more complicated when you want to look at usable freshwater. Aquifers rely on water infiltration which happens less with heavy rainfalls because the water runs off before it can get absorbed. Warmer air holds more ambient moisture. Snow and ice packs that feed mountain streams melt faster than they can be replenished. Basically the answer is that the water will go to lot of places that we can't easily get at it. But more simply, most of it will end up in the ocean before we can drink it.

  • You're overestimating the average smartphone user. For the majority of the market, things will continue to function as they expect otherwise there will be no market.

  • "They say" a lot of things about dying, but I've never heard someone who went through it say much. Except for our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Do you have a moment to talk about the Lord? It could be worth an eternity in heaven.

  • Leaf blowers are also very good at removing light snow. Oh and on really hot days a leaf blower down the front of the pants does miracles. But what's even better is if you have a powerful leaf blower and hit the inside of your heel just right, you can inflate your pants by blowing air up one leg, around your business, and down the other leg. And people won't notice. People don't notice me doing this.

  • Someone please tell me what's going on in this picture and why I should feel angry at it?

  • AI loves putting people on the toilet with the seat down.

  • Awesome! Guns are fun and useful. The only reason I was mentioning anything is because putting the wrong magazine or ammo in your firearm can be quite dangerous, and under certain circumstances can lead to you holding a polymer shrapnel bomb in your hand. If you're comfortable doing so, I would feel out your local gunshops and bring your hipoint there to get a couple magazines and ammo from the salespeople there. They should be knowledgeable and answer any questions you have. And ignore anyone mocking the mighty hipoint. They're functional handguns for a decent price.

You can also pick up some dummy rounds for it which will let you practice loading and cycling without any danger.

  • But it was worth the wait for Duke Nukem... Right, guys?

  • What is above the buffer tube? Or is that the recoil assembly and the AR style buffer tube is just to hold the stock. I don't understand this.

  • Don't take this the wrong way, but you should really get yourself to a gun club or go shooting with someone who knows what they're doing. Handguns in particular are one of, if not the most dangerous things you can handle. You should get hands-on instruction from someone well versed in firearms and firearm safety.
