I dashed for a bit during the pandemic and I had this one older lady a couple times just order a big gulp from the 7-Eleven a couple minutes away with a $5 tip. She explained to me she ran a business from home and this was essentially a charitable act because she felt blessed in a situation that sucked for most people. Super nice lady.
Also once had an old man in a rich neighbourhood give me a $20 for a pizza that was about 5 minutes away, he said he has more money than he knows what to do with lol.
Also also, delivered some McDonald's late at night probably 1 am or something. This girl in her 20s was sitting out front hitting a bong and asked if I'd take a toke as a tip lol
It was honestly kinda fun to do on the side when I was bored and wanted to feel like I was being productive
As far as I've been told, that's an extension of their inability to regulate emotions. They aren't more in tune with other's emotions, but rather, their emotional responses to other's emotions is stronger than the average person.
People with bpd aren't sensing other people's emotions more, they are reacting to it more due to their dysregulation.
I think your point about people not wanting to be reminded of their mortality is sadly true. There are a lot of people that would prefer to be ignorant to the disabled, financially challenged, orphaned, etc. because they are difficult and extremely stressful situations to think about. Part of me understands why someone would want to keep their happiness by avoiding those people but at the same time I think people in better situations have a social obligation to help the less fortunate. It's a rough world, real r/OrphanCrushingMachine stuff.
For context, this account on IG is a mother to one. I personally think it would be extremely difficult to believe any amount of care would give this child a decent quality of life.
Those are examples, you obviously would need to attain alcohol or drugs if you ask ChatGPT too. That isn't the point. The point is, if someone wants to find that information, it's been available for decades. Youtube and and Google results are personalized, look it up.
Is it that different than kids googling that stuff pre-chatgpt? Hell I remember seeing videos on youtube teaching you how to make bubble hash and BHO like 15 years ago
Ok so it's more dependent on what actually is malfunctioning. It's just my cable that's messed up, I bought a new one that works fine but I was wondering If I left it plugged into an old phone 24/7 as like a digital picture frame/alarm or something if that would be bad in the long run
It's almost always due to freshness and diet. Freshly caught and cracked sea urchin is pretty mild and like any other seafood, starts to get stankier by the second.
That's if you take it beyond the smoke point. Which you wouldn't do if you are trying to avoid free radicals in your food to begin with. Even vegetable oil is extracted through a heating process.
Like birds come in and eat your hair or something?
