  • Articles and posts like this truly reveal the oblivious bubble people live in where they still haven't come to terms how much their federal government has been corroded.

  • The solution is obvious, most are hoping for it to suddenly pop into their front page.

  • The problem is the EU is still designed as an institution that's a vassal to US interests and that they are being eroded from the bottom up by far right parties financed by that same old suspects. The EU would need to start being able to throw countries like Hungary out, they would need to begin creating their own serious alternative to NATO, and they would need to put leadership over the bureaucracy from national disputes and interests to be the sort of Union that could accept Canada within it.

The problem is also that every single election year for a EU member is another chance for the foreign financed far right to have more control over their nation and the EU as an extension. There are EU countries that are pretty divided up at the moment and even with proportional representation between a right that wants easy money and has made sure to tank any government that does not have them as a majority (or at least a majority block with the far right) and a far right that is an expert at scamming and lying to potential voters within their pedoligarch fueled social network bubbles, the outlook is not good.

  • When did Tatsumaki change to blonde?

  • Honestly, I fully expect people to continue to invest their time and effort into ineffective hope and action.

Epstein files? Dud, their base was never going to care.

People resigning? By all means, tell them what positions were problematic and leave them open to replace with loyalists. In this regard, at least people have begun circulating CIA guides for people trying to subvert regimes, so at least it has not continued to the same degree as when Trump's second term began.

Midterms? Turns out the January 6th guy is going to try to compromise them (never mind that he has persistently ignored congress and gone over them, that right now it is the weakest branch of government). I can't even comprehend how people are falling on the impeachment line and sinker he's laying out for them to bite on when he has fully compromised the federal agencies that would be in charge of such an investigation, never mind that he has already been impeached and it lead to nothing. Meanwhile, they continue to take no effective action, because permitting illegal unconstitutional acts peacefully is somehow better than allowing them to commit the same acts but with somewhat less bullshit excuses even when it doesn't matter how bullshit the excuses has been so far.

Protests? Not really that effective when you hold them in like-minded societies. They would need to start happening in the red states where people are living within their bubbles to pop them out of them, but you wouldn't have oligarchs financing the fleets of buses and logistics necessary to begin moving them never mind that the reception would not be even the same as the sort of reception they've been exploiting for their MAGA crowds. Protests against abusers just tend to egg them on when not only do they pose no actual resistance, but they can get away with literal murder.

If Europe had gone up against the USSR, they'd be a lot more cooked than Europe and Ukraine working to stop Russia's advance. Stop being a schizo-nation that holds "indivisibility" above all else, US, because you no longer hold the same values throughout your territory. Maybe next time don't ignore the canary of the FCC's Fairness Doctrine as it is butchered to death.

Don't get me wrong, I have little hope for opposition, if any. I can count the governors taking the threat seriously and for what it is with a single hand, never mind that they are essentially acting independently and with questionable support from the state authorities they should supposedly have authority over.

  • If the concept of rent must exist, at least have it go to the government. It's obvious that in private hands it will eventually favor the most rich, and it should not be used as a means to speculate. Unfortunately, political leaders never learn, and if they see thing X that moves a lot of money that they can trickle down off of, fuck the consequences of thing X, that thing is going to be allowed. Crypto, AI, housing, cloud PCs, they will kneel away their autonomy bit by bit.

  • Reddit right now is banning any criticism of ICE. Reddit covered up for Ghislaine’s account (maxwellhill), even though they’ve attended very public events with her as CEO Ellen Pao revealed, and they have narcissistic megalomaniac psychopath Jibberish (deliberately mistyped) who has trained decades on how to be the best psychopath they can be on social manipulation MMOs also heading and manipulating their “conservative” subreddit, who subscribing to also seems to be a flag within the system to begin showing you subs engineered to manipulate you with their messaging. Oh, and all the other non-conspiracy theory stuff, which there is plenty of.

Continue to remain on Reddit if you enjoy seeing all your effort, contributions, and communities you belonged to thrown to the trash if you inevitably piss off the wrong admin when they are high / pissed off.

  • AI will reach true intelligence when it is able to tell its users they probably shouldn't be providing them that information.

But seriously, you've been going off on comments that don't even care about the school part as if they've been fooled when all they might have done is just assume this was just a repost of news reported throughout multiple papers. If I didn't know better, it's almost like you were trying to dismiss what he said by portraying something very similar but with a "gotcha" that was satire, when the reality is that it is so close to reality it hardly classifies as such. Specially given how "obvious" you claim it is when this administration has not done anything if break the norms of expectation - it is missing one overlap with a school shooting from him actually saying something like this.

  • So basically another illegal act that can be thrown at him only to be ignored: manipulating evidence. Although to be fair, hard to manipulate what is already out there, so I don't think it's likely he will.

  • He should know as one. The guy is literally using the label to hide the suppression of social rights and issues behind the veil of "respect my religious right to expression", all the while enabling global surveillance for the worst offenders. Can't get any more antichrist than that, although it's hard to tell with the current number of contenders we have.

  • "2nd ammendment! ... No, not that way!"

The funniest thing is that this, literally suppressing the second amendment, was basically done just to try to act like there was some justification for his execution and in complete hypocrisy of what they promoted and pardoned on January 6th.

  • whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh

it is the stranglehold in information warfare that prevents Americans from living in a shared reality that has now been cultivated and ingrained into culture for several generations.

"So WhErE iS tHe CoNnEcTiOn WiTh ThIs GrOuP tRyInG tO eStAbLiSh A sTrAnGlEhOlD In iNfOrMaTiOn wArFaRe tHaT PrEvEnTs aMeRiCaNs fRoM LiViNg iN A ShArEd rEaLiTy tHaT HaS NoW BeEn cUlTiVaTeD AnD InGrAiNeD InTo cUlTuRe fOr sEvErAl gEnErAtIoNs!?!?!? ChEcKmAtE & lInK!"

It has honestly been a waste of time.

  • It's pretty clear that only states can save themselves at this point. The two most significant branches of the federal government are completely corrupt and the legislative is so powerless it is getting ignored by the executive even more than how much it ignores the courts. On top of that, you have the January 6th president who has already implied running a third term. Now people want to let the clock run out because otherwise they'll have an excuse for what they are already doing who think that voting now when the odds are significantly more stacked against them is going to be a fix.

Maybe, just maybe, if the federal government is no longer following the constitution, you don't have to follow the federal government. By all means, begin creating one based on the same constitution, this would not be the first time the collective government of the colonies reorganized.

  • You are basically dismissing a pretty low bar because some other bars that are following suit are not that low. The "People from the South" are not the problem, rather, it is the stranglehold in information warfare that prevents Americans from living in a shared reality that has now been cultivated and ingrained into culture for several generations.

  • It's neoconfederates come to finish the job because the Civil War never fixed the core issue and just let it sulk until America no longer had a shared reality.
