I'm as much against the US as the next guy but how is it the west's fault that Pakistan is now bombing Afghanistan?
- The Pakistani Airforce dropping the bombs.
- The Pakistani Taliban attacking Pakistan.
- The Taliban allowing the Pakistani Taliban to operate.
You need to go many layers down before it starts being the West's fault.
Either by saying it's the West's fault that Pakistan is now bombing Afghanistan because they retreated and the Taliban took power.
Or by saying it's the West's fault that Pakistan is now bombing Afghanistan because they supported the Mujahideen which eventually led to the collapse of the DRA and the Taliban took power.
Sure there is responsibility, but there are many actors that have way more direct responsibility over this current event before we reach the West.
Yes but what im asking is why does the west get blamed for Pakistan bombing Afghanistan when:
We are 5 steps away before we reach the West, yet the West is blamed.
Saying the west "gave" back power to the Taliban is saying like Ukraine gave back Crimea to the Russians.
If you truly want to say the west gave power to the Taliban we would need to go further back.
That's 12 steps away before the West causing this. outside of 5, were the West lost the war if you want to blame them for that.
If any of these things acted different this wouldn't have happend.
Why is it only the West that is mentioned?
