    Iran War Megathread

  • Yeah, giving a prognosis on the duration of a war is usually not the best idea.

especially when it's continued operation will be beneficial to him politically.

  • Oh it’s a tinned fish from the brand John west. Unsure which kind of fish though.

  • Have they ever said why they refuse to send him to Costa Rica?

  • That was probably cbc. Their reaction has been shared a lot.

  • I’m surprised by these results tbh. And it seems for most people there is no big difference. But I do think for power users the catch is still there.

Lazaros Papadopoulos, research assistant at Goethe University, told The Register in an email that the study used the default filter sets for the respective ad blocking extensions in order to mimic the behavior of the typical user and to ensure rule consistency.

They used the default rule sets. One of the major limitations of mv3 iirc is the number of block list urls you can have. Like I’ve added a number of additional items to block via additional lists which I believe is mostly not possible in mv3.

  • Second for valheim. Amazing game

  • They don’t really allow 0 down. But It is possible. I went with 0 down just to give the landlord some grace because realistically I was already sure they were misleading on the costs.

  • I’m also noticing the owners said they are bleeding cash. But they bought 7 units (in 4 buildings) for 295,000. Assuming 0 down and 5% apr that just north of 1700 a month. So this one renter paying 727 is nearly half of their mtg.

Even if we say expenses and upkeep adds 50% to their monthly outlay, their costs are covered at 4 units rented…

I’m not exactly anti landlord but this screams rent seeking crocodile tears.

  • Mini metro has to be my top. Simple costs money so no ads (mandatory for me). You are basically just creating subway lines to move shares around and manage flow.

  • The argument in the article reference is you can’t do that because all of the future tech has peaked. But that just seems like a lack of imagination. The article had the feeling of existing for quotas sake. It didn’t really make any points worth making considering it acknowledged that there is a whole lot of time between the 24th and. 32nd centuries even if there is no creativity left to improve the future tech.

  • Sounds like they are just tired of being correctly called out for their “common sense” just being racism.

  • Feels like a sign they aren’t selling anywhere near enough corporate licenses.

  • My favourite accusation of woke was people complaining about princes leia being old and unattractive now. Like no shit? It’s been 40ish years?

  • They all have prominent signs or info in menu basically denouncing any connection to the US now lol.

  • Huh? Why are you bringing up NDA's?

To be clear, the acts committed by these people are heinous. They should and hopefully eventually will face jail time. I'd be happy for employees or executives of kick to face similar. They are complicit as well.

My argument was that execution of the law is hard and never as easy as we would like it to be.

  • execution of the law is always more complicated than we want it to be. They could have been let off as the investigation continued if the victim told the cops "i did everything with full consent and it was all an act for the entertainment of the stream.". Cops/W/e the french version of DA is would possibly need to continue the investigation to show that either he was unable to consent to the actions or it was a lie that there was consent.

I'm just a layperson and maybe it was more cut and dry and the cops really dropped the ball. It just doesn't seem so cut and dry legally to me. Will be interesting to see the outcome of the investigation from this.

  • My first reaction to this article was that the US will need UN Observers at the midterms.

America is cooked and the collective responce seems to be "well... Both sides...". Infuriating to watch.
