It’s unfortunate, but the school systems seem to be fine with the problem these days. The teachers are underpaid and furious these days with the school boards.
Sadly if you don’t make noise in your area and get other parents rallied, the administrators are continuing to “cut costs,” and the kids who aren’t in private schools are effected.
My girlfriend is a math teacher, the number of middle schoolers that can’t do basic multiplication before is surprisingly high. Yet the schools keep passing the kids. I remember learning multiplication as a 4th grader, if I hadn’t, I would’ve never passed.
Yup, but they’re hoping to sell all of it for AI training down the line and kill old Reddit where it’s easier to dodge ads.
So they will likely say there’s no evidence who posted the original comment, and make you go through a maze of steps like requiring a driver’s license scan sent to them through email. Instagram tried this.
This is sadly real since they undeleted all of mine 7 times. I think they’re praying you close the account, so they can toss the comments back up but have no say if it’s back up.
He is spez’ idol. So while Reddit’s circles the drain and value decreases, they’ll will no doubt kill old.reddit on August 1st or something dumb, followed by a posting limit next year. 🤣
You’re probably right, he’s speed running turning Reddit into an IPO so fast he’s destroyed everything in under a month.
Not to mention rolling back comment/account deletions to keep the comments up, he clearly doesn’t have a long term plan. This looks like a speedy cash out like he’s about to be caught red handed.
