  • Cool. I've stopped being a liberal and I won't participate in electoral politics. After all, it all contributes to fascism one way or the another, amirite?

What should I do next? What's the strategy now? Is it more listening to you yap or is there an actual plan we can turn into concrete results? I'd like to know please

  • I will stop participating in liberal democracy. I will stop voting for any of the candidates because they all contribute to the status quo.

Please. Tell me: what ought we do? Do you have a roadmap or an effective strategy to achieve anything? I'd really like to know if there's a better way. I'm here to learn.

What ought we do to achieve any of the goals of the left?

    Thanks! <3

  • You've made it impossible to falsify your claim even after I've asked you for your terms. All roads seem to lead to Rome in some way with you.

    • I say I'm not a liberal
    • you say I'm a liberal
    • I say how can I prove I'm not a liberal
    • you say I'm pretending to be a liberal to co-opt leftist spaces (who knows to what end though)

  • I don't know what that means. All I learned from you is that to even begin to have a conversation I have to first testify under oath and somehow establish I'm not a liberal. I don't know what you want. Every question I pose is only met with another snide remark. But imma keep going because this is so bizzarre and fascinating.

Once again, what ought I do to establish I'm not a liberal?

  • Interesting. More name calling. So before we can discuss how to actualize anything concrete for the left we have to prove ourselves not liberals. We can't have a conversation until the liberal label has been extirpated. I'm ready. How do we do that?

  • Does anyone that question your methodology earn that title? How ought we to engage with you?

  • The only thing you've contributed to this entire conversation is calling me a liberal. Nothing about strategy, solutions, concrete lines of actions, or plans. You do the same thing to other users as well. I don't think you have any answers. How is one to have a conversation with someone who has nothing to contribute? Are you here only to troll?

  • I notice you never answer or engage with anythitg I write. Why don't you?

  • All you can contribute is name calling people liberals just for daring to ask the left to become more politically effective

Thats all I asked for. I want the goal of the left to become reality. That's it. In order to do that, we have to be politically effective. If you have another strategy I'm all ears. What do you want? The revolution? Let's go, man. I'm right behind you! Let's do this. How do you want to get any of the lefts goals accomplished? Give me a roadmap. Anything. I'm 39. I've heard you guys yap about liberalism and fascism for over a dozen years and nothing, I mean nothing in terms of practical accomplishments. So give it to me, man. I'm all ears.

  • Not a liberal. But it's to be expected that the most productive dialog we can get out of someone like you is regurgitation of more labels and thought terminating cliches.

The void of inaction you have to offer the world is more empty phrases and faux anger. Keep at it. Things will change for better with or without you. The universe keeps moving on regardless of how much you choose to participate in it. You can contribute to building something or just sit here behind a keyboard sniffing your farts. You only get one life to live.

  • Nah. It's just your thought terminating cliches and constant labels and faux angst that carries into everything you say.

I guess anything is desirable except being politically effective. Now go away and keep sniffing your farts. It's the best you have to offer to the world after all

  • Man you love the sound of your voice. I'm getting you sniff your farts vibe

  • Don't cut yourself on all that edge, m'lord.

  • If you voted for Stein you might as well have voted for Trump or thrown it in the trash. Same difference

  • Stop pretending you give a damn about genocide. Im sure you have no idea what is happening in Yemen, Syria, or Sudan. I'm also certain you couldn't place Gaza on a map before Oct 7. You never gave a shit before Oct 7 and damn certainly don't care now. It only took you five minutes to bring it up so you can continue your cosplay.

Also, stop ascribing me to liberalism. I have nothing to do with it. And the fact that you're still playing this game tells me you have not understood anything of what I said so far. I'm done with this conversation

  • Same old same old grandstanding and huffing and puffing. Now we have to drag me politics into any of this as if you really give a damn about Palestine (I know you don't).

Have fun sitting on your throne of... getting absolutely nothing done.

  • Any chance this just one big psyop? Are these people really this stupid...

  • You're doing the thing. You're grandstanding while not engaging with the substance of what I wrote.

I never said leftist have to become liberal. Did I say that? Where did I say that?

I've heard this diatribe a thousand times. It's like you guys share the same copy pasta so you can fellate endlessly to how "neoliberalism is fascism in disguise".

Enjoy your circle jerk. Some of us are going to roll up our sleeves and get to work trying to make the world better.

  • I don't care what sub I'm in. All I want is leftists to learn to become politically effective. I want leftist objectives to become mainstream. I want to get us out of this endless loop of whining and pandering to virtue signals. I'm going off the starting topic above about how leftists refuse participate in the electoral process because the candidates put forward are not idealistically aligned 100%. This is shortsighted and gets nothing accomplished. These next four years the Overton window will move so far to the right we might as well start over from scratch. It's one thing to clap all day about progressive values. It's another process altogether to become politically effective. Some of that requires building coalitions. Doing the groundwork to set up foundations. You know, politics.
