  • Nintendo and Sega's IP. I did not grow up with them and have never seen the appeal or hype around them.

  • Been with Posteo for years now. They're very solid.

  • Shocker. An even heavier and more expensive version of their already massive and expensive road tank isn't selling.

  • Looks awesome. Machinarium vibes.

  • Yeah, same here.

  • Bitwarden.

  • I'm with Posteo.

  • Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support!!

  • Thank you! And yeah I do! There are links in the print section on my website. Not every image is available on each print service as they all have different requirements.

  • Thank you!

  • On the plus side: Building and maintaining a nuclear stockpile is extremely expensive. This will serve as yet another open, gushing tap on Russia's finances as they haemorrhage money from the war.

  • I am open to the idea of paying for quality services that put the customer first. Hell, I pay for my email and have done so for years.

But Kagi has always squicked me out a bit. Some of their business practices over the years have been rather questionable, especially their push into AI which is exactly the sort of thing someone looking at Kagi would probably want to avoid. They are also very expensive. They're one of those services that just assumes everyone is American so they just give a $ cost and don't specify beyond that, so I'm going to assume their prices are in USD which means a plan for my dad and myself is $21CAD a month. That absurdly overpriced for a search engine subscription.

To put that into perspective: A YouTube premium family plan covers up to 6 accounts and is the same price and includes unlimited video and music streaming. Thoughts about YouTube aside and looking at this from a pure value perspective, paying that same price just for a search engine is a godawful shit deal. Do you know what my email costs per month? $1.25CAD

  • Get that nazi crap out of here.

  • The ultimate form is basically what the US has done / is doing: Sell off everything to corporate interests and wash their hands of it.

  • Yeah, pretty much. I've seen some cycling glasses as high as $200CAD. Absolutely absurd markup for tinted plastic.

  • The TES series in general for its massive, expansive lore.

But Morrowind in particular has absolutely incredible world-building with incredible creativity and originality. There is a reason why so many people keep going back to the n'wah simulator and it's because the world is so rich and fleshed out. So much of the following games was built off Morrowind's stunning work.

  • I use basic safety glasses from 3M that have a foam gasket around the rim. They look like this:

They are cheap, offer good protection, and the gasket keeps out most of the wind while allowing a tiny amount through to keep them from fogging up. I have clear and tinted pairs that I alternate between depending on the weather.

  • Thank you so much! I gave Mastodon a try a while ago but I never really clicked with it. I found it very confusing.

  • They need lifetimes in prison for treason and domestic terrorism.
