I have the duress pin/password set, the pin is written on a post-it in the case.
I should clarify, the cop can give the phone a once over but not connect to a machine or clone the phone. Cloning is a bit more involved - legally speaking.
I wear both.

Brilliant idea. I’m gonna try that.
I started wearing a N95 for medical reasons a few years ago and this may help with the cameras.
I’ve never done a selfie or posted any photos of my face on social media. I have a driver’s license but my country has privacy laws so that information shouldn’t be available to any company that wants it. On the other hand, The War Amps has access so maybe stores do as well.
I feel naked without a ballcap. A few stores in my area have the cameras at eye-level. I look down when entering or exiting if I’m not wearing sunglasses.
I never use the self checkouts. These often have high def cameras inches from one’s face. This is an effective way to connect a customer’s face and their name by way of a credit or bank card.
I always use cash.
I used to use a thumb drive.
Localsend is an option. Side of Burritos did a video about this recently.
I have Proton Drive so I may give that a try.
I best I could do on my tablet was to put those notifications on “silent”. They in my notification bar but the popup is gone.
Go yell at a cloud, grandpa Simpson
Well, Abe Simpson, maybe try https://discuss.grapheneos.org. I guarantee there are more people there discussing GOS then here.
Try Mull. It gets updated on a regular bases.
I don’t know about Calyx or Iode but Lineage doesn’t allow for a locked bootloader. This is a massive security hole and without security, sooner or later, your privacy will be violated.
Currently, GrapheneOS on a newer Pixel are the only phones that Celebrite can’t breach. Celebrite machines are cheap enough that the border guards and your local cops probably have one. In my country, it’s the law that a cop is allowed to examine a phone during a traffic stop.
Installing GrapheneOS removes all the Google crap.
New security exploits are discovered daily. A browser without updates can’t protect your device from a malicious site. As for Bromite, just use the fork called Cromite which is updated.
The fact that Bromite is recommended tells me one very important thing - the author hasn’t updated the site since December of 2022. I didn’t go through all the pages so there could be other outdated apps in the list. Check when the last update happened before using any app.
Your daughter’s Google account can be closed without appeal. All the memories gone. This less likely to happen using Proton or Tuta.
Sounds like you may have already read this. https://lunduke.locals.com/post/4387539/firefox-money-investigating-the-bizarre-finances-of-mozilla
