  • Unix and Linux are terms that can and have been used a bit interchangeably in the past already. It's possible that their UNIX category is just named like that from way back in the day. If internet speed and data limits are not a concern it may be worth a shot to try if the UNIX version works on your system. Simply because Linux is UNIX based but not officially certified as UNIX.

  • Yet here I am, enjoying a game for hour 1000 and more exactly because it didn't choose to change up how it works for the 35689 th time in what feels like two days. I don't have all day every day anymore to dedicate to games and that's okay what isn't okay is that these guys expect me to be willing to learn what is effectively a completely different game constantly. I don't want to re learn that thing every time I play, I want to enjoy it.

    Maybe I am the problem, maybe not. All I know is that I can't be bothered to only put time into one game and one game only when there are more things in life I want to do.

  • Geht heute mit LED Technik. Aus eigener Erfahrung ist so ein 50 Watt LED Strahler sehr hell und das auch durchaus weit. Akkukapazitäten sind bei der Geschichte auch deutlich größer weil man eben doch einfach mal einen ganzen Raum mehr oder weniger damit voll machen kann.

  • Ich kenne da ein paar wenige Leute die das tun. Einer davon tut sich aber mit Verständnis eh schon schwer der muss das nicht noch schwerer haben. Der andere könnfe zwar, ist aber trotz eigentlich guter Englisch Kenntnisse (naja hatte mal) zu faul dazu weil das übersetzen so anstrengend sei.

    Ich selber nutz am PC allgemein eher Englisch als deutsch. Dementsprechend sind auch die Spiele eher auf Englisch eingestellt. Macht die Info suche einfacher und verhindert oft das man gerade bei Namen mit irgendwelchen veränderten Lokalisierungen klar kommen muss. Die Stadt heißt eben "XYZ" das mit "Abc" zu lokalisieren weil... Baum, ist Mist.

  • Look at your own map you posted. Then think about how much influence the non voters could have had. Given the fact that it's apparently more than half the population it would have made a huge difference. Possibly with a very different election outcome. just because it feels like it doesn't matter doesn't make it true. Every vote changes the result after all. Even in a system that has flaws.

    While it's not great to pick a side that you don't quite believe in it's still better than not voting because that only helps the side that you really don't want to see win. Which is exactly what happened. That is in my humble opinion the real shortsighted and naive thing Going on here.

    Not voting is effectively saying : "don't care, either is good for me." So... Yes you did choose this result by virtue of not making your opinion heard when you were asked for your opinion.
