  • Only $15.66/hour for that? That's fucked up

  • Ranked choice voting has become my top policy issue

Long-term it's the most important change we could make. It's what can get us candidates people actually like, rather than constantly voting for the "electable" one with corporate backers

  • What a broken electoral system. Not that much of America has a functional democratic system

  • Hank Hill, Strickland Propane and propane accessories

  • I was going to link to the FBI recommendation of using ad blockers, but they've deleted it

Here's an archive from Oct 2024

This administration truly supports corporate interests over all else. The PSA was up for 2 years, and they delete it around when Trump takes office

The only reason I can think to delete it is because big corporate advertisers didn't like it

  • Can you explain why we should soften our language? Settlers already feels like propaganda levels of soft terminology. I don't see why it should be softened even more

They're stealing the homes of vulnerable people through terroristic fear and violence

  • Fun fact I learned about Duolingo: They don't have a cybersecurity team

I'm honestly shocked they haven't gotten hacked more

  • Where does your list come from? Why is it different from what the article says?

The article states Fetterman crossed the aisle and voted with republicans

  • with a few bursts of up to 150Km/h to get away from idiots doing 80 on a 100 (or just to show off the torque to other types of idiots like BMW and some Tesla drivers 😏)

Yeah, they're the idiots. Not the one going 50 over while showing off...

  • They're not doing anything. They're merely saying they could do something in the future

Don't listen to what people say, watch what they do

If the judges handing out these warnings agreed with the illegal detentions, but didn't want to explicitly break the law themselves, what would they do differently? I don't think anything. If they wanted these illegal detentions to happen, while still covering their own ass, they'd do exactly this: Drag their feet on doing any action, while verbally condemning the government breaking the law

  • That is definitely a concern for me too. MAGA Republicans have learned they can just ignore any laws or court orders that are inconvenient for them. I don't know how effective it will be, but I expect them to try as a last ditch effort

  • User submissions. There's a leaderboard and people are crazy fast at submitting them. I've seen 30 minute videos have the sponsor sections blocked out within 10 minutes of being posted

As an example, here are the stats for my sponsor block:

    You've saved people from 3,297 segments ( 2d 17h 7.0 minutes of their lives )

    You've skipped 577 segments ( 10h 18.6 minutes )

  • Project Farm is the only channel I can think of where I'd trust the review to be fair and honest

  • The psychology of those incels would be fascinating to study

They enjoy insulting and humiliating these women for doing sex work, then they go ahead and pay for it

Granted that's been the history of sex work for thousands of years, this is just one of the most direct examples of it. Wonder if it boils down to them wanting to project their own shame and guilt on the women

  • While that's true, they at least don't have rampant gun violence or a government para-military gunning people down in the streets

  • The hacker left behind traces of his activity. His IP address was logged at the proxy he used, CTunnel.com, and he also left his email address while posting to 4chan. Furthermore, the attacker revealed the original web address used by the proxy

There were at least 3 easy ways to track him. Dude really sucked at covering his tracks

  • Jeffrey is hers, she gets what she wants.

    1. She's still in prison, so even if Epstein is alive somewhere, she hasn't gotten him
    2. Epstein would hold as much, or more, blackmail than her
    3. If she held that level of power, she would be out of prison herself
  • What’s keeping Ghislaine in a vacation prison where she gets her own dog, and the warden her bitch?

There is no way she could die without the public overwhelmingly being angry about the situation, after what happened to Epstein. Therefore the best course for those in power is to placate her and give her the best conditions possible in exchange for her giving false testimony absolving them

What’s keeping all the American billionaires in the Epstein Files free from accountability?

The fact they're in power and able to quash investigations, and the public is generally too distracted by divisive politics like race and gender identity

Don't give up understanding it so easily. You can make sense of it when you consider the motivations and limitations of the players involved
