I did already write a manifesto, actually. I think it was written before Trump, but it outlined some non-negotiable demands and some negotiable ones, though I also added a lot more that seem ridiculous. Because a good way to negotiate is to give ridiculous demands so the other will be more inclined to agree to the less ridiculous (which was what you ideally wanted anyways)

They def are Republicans, we just call them RINOs because they’re so far off the deep end that they lick the billionnaire’s boots instead.

The Netherlands has a solution to that free-rider problem. You can “opt out” of healthcare, but if you do so, you must pay every month to a fund for yourself; and if you get injured, all costs are on you, unreimbursed. If it’s empty, your problem.

So in practice, you’re still required to be covered, but if you “opt out”, all costs are on you. And you also will get lower priority in treatment compared to others that are normally covered. Last I recall there are very few people that do so.

I’d prefer lynching the fossil billionnaires, restoring order by removing surveillance oligarchs from life, and fighting politicians that don’t do shit to stop global warming. All three are enemies of the proletariat.

There is more in the world than two. I prefer labour self-management where we work together.

It does, in the Netherlands (my country), we have universal private healthcare.

We used to have universal public/singlepayer, but decades of liberal governance caused it to be privatised.

Delay, deny, depose

In the Netherlands you get the unemployment support depending on how long you worked. So if you worked at least 108 hours in year 1, you get 3 months. By about 8 years+ it’s 2 years.

Unfortunately though the conservative liberal party wants to abolish that and make even more people suffer than Covid already did.

But yeah, assuming the minimum, it’d be about 1.5 years for me, with maximum maybe about 3 years.
