I used to be hot all the time, as I’ve got older I’m feeling cold a lot more and I don’t like it.

I wanted to be a physician. Now I just want a decent paying job to get me and my wife out of poverty. I sometimes still mourn what might have been.

I also don’t think I necessarily have the disposition to be a physician. I’m very compassionate and empathetic and I don’t think I’d be able to handle it emotionally. I know that sounds like a humblebrag, but it isn’t meant to be.

Calling CoMaps and Osm hot garbage would be generous. They’re incapable of finding addresses. The search is fundamentally broken, which makes them useless. All of the OSM based navigation apps are this way.

Search is fundamentally broken in all of the major OSM based apps. They are incapable of finding addresses, which is the whole point of the apps. I recently started using Vela Maps. It does use Google Maps under the hood, but it tries to minimize data sent to Google. Before that, I used Magic Earth, which was great before it was enshittified.
