  • Adhd kids gets more negative feedback on average, so just more of the negative stuff worsening this negative bias

  • Then you are just doing it wrong. Bread goes stale faster in the fridge due to easier crystallization

  • There are creators around Adhd and autism that aren't shit. But you need to find them. There are probably more without credentials, but I follow a lot of the ones that has.

  • Where is my Oxford comma?

  • I do this as well. Sometimes I challenge myself of figuring how the fuck I ended up in the dread by tying to go backwards om the train of thoughts. Sometimes I've managed to take each step back and figure out what started it all, a whole 17 steps back.

  • It's exactly like this for me as well. The barrier to start tasks is lower, and the anxiety about all the "should do" tasks is not there, as well as the lack of anxiety when finishing something and thinking "but I have way more to do".

So combined the mental load is way less, so I have energy to do more.

Tl;dr I have energy to do more, the ability to do more, and the rewards of doing more.

  • No. You can have an opinion, but that doesn't prove it isn't settled in facts.

  • "not liking dick" is also not an exclusive condition, as you can have sex with a dick and just not enjoy it.

  • Yeah. Some imposter syndrome in there for sure. Years of "you can do even better (at school etc) if you just apply yourself" is hard to overcome.

I'm working on the negative self talk. I intelectualize a lot, so logically I know I do a good job, but I don't feel it. So when I get 'attaboys it makes that disconnect very conscious, and I'd feel better if they just didn't say anything.

  • Or the thought of "I should've started this earlier", which never happens next time.

  • I did the same thing in my last job. My manager thought I did excellent work every day, and said things like "good work" at the end of the day when I was on reddit for 5 hours.

I did amazing things that was above my position, so my work was excellent, but it felt so wrong when he said good job when I was pretending.

  • You are accidentally correct! The best kind of corr.. Wait a minute!

  • The people who would go that far to give him money wouldn't be comfortable putting that sticker on.
