Totally agree.
Totally agree.
If the voters felt that the Dems delivered, they would have been there to elect Kamala. Dems rarely ever deliver for their base—the everyday working person. OTOH, Republicans will go scorched Earth to enact their agenda.
People desperately want change and unfortunately the pace of change from the Dems is not good enough.
Running as Republican-lite and courting the neocons will just serve to validate right-wing ideologies and strengthen the vote for the real Republican candidate. Harris needed to lean into the Walz platform, but her consultants clearly failed (sabotaged?) her. Add to this the fact that Americans grown to hate standard politicians—at least for president—and it’s clear this was Trump’s election to lose.
Not sure how doctors can willingly comply with this shit. Seems antithetical to the Hippocratic oath.
What is wrong with America?
How do I create a community on Sync? Can’t find a button for that.
Exactly, it’s not about gender at all. It’s about populist policies that will prioritize our own people. When you make a point of courting the neocons, who gave us over a decade of war and an even shittier economy, you’re not going to win over the independents who see both parties as more of the same. In fact, you’re proving them right.
I agree, fine sandy bottom.
Same way the physician governor of Hawaii declared Joe Biden mentally fit. They lie for reasons that benefit themselves.
Walz is so much better than Kamala, so I’ll be voting because of Walz.
Honestly, the VPs in this election are better candidates than the presidential candidates. Even if I hate JD.
I mean, downvote all you want but they’re right. No one picked Harris except for Joe Biden. The primary was half assed at best, and there was no democratic process to select the Democratic party nominee. You’re insane if you don’t think that Biden’s dementia wouldn’t have surface during an actual primary process. We could have easily avoided this Trump apocalypse if the Democratic establishment let us have a real primary.
Honestly, it should be easy if you embrace economic populist policies, but instead Harris is running to the neocons and trying to triangulate to present herself as a principled Republican.
The graph is pretty shitty
This video breaks it down fairly well: https://youtu.be/9Xb9LU4OoHw?si=sNUoXhJvbYh_5m1R
Those aren’t as practical as bikes or scooters. You have to stand the whole time and your legs are the shock absorbers. Bikes and scooters can have baskets, there’s a reason much of Asia uses scooters—they’re incredibly practical.
Where’s the chocolate starfish?
We need to greatly reduce meat consumption in order to make our planet sustainable for human life. You can start at your own pace, but it’s easier than ever with all of the meat alternatives these days.
I think you’re misunderstanding why the Dems lost. “The left” that you’re referring to doesn’t exist in the way you’re imagining it. Kamala didn’t win enough swing voters. Swing voters don’t view themselves as leftist or rightist. Swing voters (apparently) vote based on their feelings.
