How the fuck are we going to keep our meatsacks viable in space travel when we haven't even figured out how to keep our meatsacks alive versus the pressures of life on Earth?
There will be plenty of climate change refugees to exploit. People whom the ruling class don't have to provide healthcare, food, or education for. That is some other nation's/society's expense.
And Nazi Germany didn't have submarines loaded with nukes lurking who knows where. The US has such bloodlust that people here will bay and screech for the nukes to be used as soon as there's even the slightest bit of humbling felt.
It'd be stupid to let all that dead skin go to waste.
