  • Last hired, first fired

  • Were Boomers in power then? Ah, yeah they took over sitting as president after Regan, so like late 80s/early 90s. They've been sitting as president since, and they're the most spoiled generation there has ever been. So, it makes sense they'd ignore anything with consequences later down the line. Everything was handed to them, then they hiked up the ladder behind them.

  • sick people are profitable

    For the care providers? Yes.

    For the insurance companies? No.

So what ends up happening is the parasite class ends up draining you of money while you don't need it. Then, when you're sick or injured, the parasites deny your claims generated from the health care. That way you don't have enough money to cover your medical bills independently. So, you die without care and drained of resources, and the health-care providers eat up your carcass trying to recover their share. This ends up being the most ecconomical outcome for all parasites.

  • Are we normalizing political violence now?

    Found a brown noser.

Dude, sucking up to the Nazis won't get you healthcare.

  • It really occurs to me that this emphasis on surveillance (Palantir, this Discord stuff, the cameras everywhere, etc.) really shows how afraid the billionaire class is. They're trying to identify those that are getting uppity to try and prevent organizing, which they hope would quash revolution. They know people are angry; they know they've been looting and pillaging; they know they've been denying access to basic things like food, housing, healthcare; and they know they work for hostile interests. Yet, they're going to keep on doing it. They even have a new police force.

    It never works though.

  • Feudal society still requires an allocation of resources to the serfs and allows them movement. Bringing back slavery would be more likely.

  • That poor child will now have to suffer dual citizenship in the US. That kid's tax stuff will be a PITA when it starts working.

  • It really depends on various factors like how far into the pregnancy she is (travel when you're 2 months in is vastly different to travel when you're 8 months in), how urgent the need to travel is (traveling to go to an anime convention is vastly less urgent than traveling to lay your mom to rest), how far you're traveling (a weekend saunter to the next town over is different than traveling half way around the globe (which it sounds like she did)), whether the doctor overseeing your care says its okay, and other stuff.

  • Because that would be illegal, and advice in easy-to-acess ways to sabotage fascism should not be shared anywhere.

  • Bunch of hypocrites

Really? That's worth repeating at this point? Color me shocked!

At this point, saying Trump and his supporters are hypocritical is like saying the sun rises in the east.
