Because of the position he was given, certainly not earned, he is privy to not only the details of current military strikes but also secret goals for future military projects. Right? I assume most people who have these jobs have a modicum of self-respect and patriotic duty. But couldn’t he just leak that important info to anyone even after he is fired?

I really like her delivery. I tend to get heated about these things, and I think that kind of tone turns people off when talking about the injustice in stunts like this. Her level headed statements really drive the point home. And I want to be more like that because articulating why this isn’t inspiring is important. Science communication is becoming so popular these days, but a lot of people are just trying to capitalize on the trend and not actually care about the science.

My phones autocorrect has been garbage recently. I feel like a few years ago, it was much better at predicting what I meant to type, and I could easily edit on mobile using the suggested corrections. But now it is worse. Even with words or names I use all the time.

“Bending the knee” means kneeling before (usually) royalty. It’s a physical representation that the person standing deserves respect and therefore the person has lowered themselves to the ground on one knee.

He then puts insane deadlines and requirements on his employees (the engineers actually doing the work). Then, he’ll want to alter the design and expect immediate compliance and ridicule them for not being as intelligent as he wants them to be.
