  • I agree and thankfully doctors around here seem to really enjoy a nerdy patient and are delighted to give you a tour and a whole lecture on your body if you just ask.

Last time I had anything done I had a laser vein prosecure and got to see the whole thing and the amazing string with laser leds in it that they put up into the vein to burn it dead. It was so cool.

But the coolest thing I ever got to see was my placenta after giving birth. They put that thing into a plastic bag and I wanted to see it. It was huge (I was told it was so big it almost warranted being sent to additional testing) and very alien looking. It helped build an entire human and that is just amazing.

  • The bubbly kind sadly yeah, but a really nice non-bubbly oven pancake is very doable vegan, here's a recipe for it:

1 liter of oat milk or other plant milk

    1 dl unflavoured soy yogurt

5 1/2 dl all purpose flour

    1 dl oats

    1/2 dl sugar

    2 tsp baking powder

    1/2 tsp salt

    2 tsp vanillla

    (1 tsp cardamon, optional)

    50 g melted margarine/vegan butter

Mix everything together and let sit until your oven warms up to 200-225C depending on how you like your pancake. I bake mine in higher temp.

Pour the batter on a pan lined with parchment paper and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Enjoy.

The measurements are deciliters which is a very common way of writing recipes where I am.

Edit. Can't remember how you get a line break on Hexbear so edited to clarify

  • Yes, as we all know the immune system is a muscle.

  • Should have worn a mask doing it. But we all know real men don't use protection in anything. /s

  • Wish I could send you a piece.

  • Pretty sure mine was this too. But not entirely sure anymore.

  • Burger King veggie burger and nuggets are the best tasting options in my country too. I don't much eat this stuff, but if I want an easy burger, it's the plant based Whopper for sure.

  • Sunday frost and ice trail walkies

  • I love how obvious it is that all the signs were either made by the same person or machine made somehow.

Looks most spontaneous and genuine, lol

  • So it's been what, six years? And for pretty much the entire time this has been known to happen from covid.

Now they are doing these headlines, because history must always start yesterday and all things happen only in isolation.

And of course we will not mention covid. Or stress. We will just look at this "mental decline" and decide that it is what it is, everything is shit, there's nothing we can do. So carry on dying for capitalism, but do some self care that ensures you can still be exploited by the capitalist.

  • not the current offensive by Russia against the world.

But have you considered RUSSIA!! All day I think about Russia. Is there a cloud in the sky? It was put there by Russia.

    God these people are tiring.

  • The communist underground

  • The discussion started from buying tickets for public transport for them and I informed them that a lot of poor folks can no longer afford the tickets.

The most amazing bit is that towards the end when the discussion had evolved to all the things like WW2 and even Stalin, the older teenager said "it's terrible how little it is talked about what the Japanese did in WW2 and how crucial the role of China was in defeating fascism." This was a follow up on discussing how the Soviet Union saved the world from fascism on which they agreed and were aware of the cold war propaganda that has scewed this. Never in my life would I have expected to hear this sort of talk from young humans under 15 years old.

Talking about stuff like this is very common and normal in our lives though.

  • I love that it looks like this person of endless money could not think to clean his phone camera lense before taking a picture.

  • Got to spend the day with kids today and am here to tell you that the kids growing up right now, they are all right.

Far more communism positive in all the ways than I ever could have expected and extremely ready to burn capitalism to the ground. Love to see it.

  • Oh I love these, grew these last summer as well.
