This is a man who refuses to make the same mistake twice.
Only the good die young.
FWIW I feel the same way about people putting A1 on their steak.
They see themselves as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.
Cinnamon is on the roll, not the chili. Don’t knock it till you try it, the sweet/savory combination is a Midwest classic for a reason.
Next time try chili and cinnamon rolls.
This is it for me. There are a lot of things that aren’t awesome about owning and maintaining a house, but not dealing with a smug, PITA landlord every month is absolutely worth it to me.
“no” is a complete sentence btw.

It’s less complicated than even that, it’s about real estate value, which is where McDonald’s corporate arm really makes it’s money. It’s easier to sell a full gray box than one that is so obviously a McDonalds in a past life. Same thing has happened with Pizza Hut, they don’t build them with the classic roofline anymore.
I largely have as well, but I fucking hate that forced ignorance is my only path to mental and emotional regulation.
My S21 is on the verge of losing regular security updates, and I hate it. The battery is fine, the camera is more than adequate, I do not want to upgrade.
Fark is still around too.
I understand your argument. But the entire premise is grounded in the assumption of courts upholding precedent and not letting an executive operate outside the confines of the law. The president has immunity. Congress is ineffectual at best and actively evil at worst. I mean for fucks sake, the current occupant of the White House lead an attempted coup and is still being permitted to sign, enact and decree legislation. If the checks and balances in our system were functioning, I’d be willing to get in line with you. But it’s so painfully clear that they are not.
What about the last eight years has made you think these people will follow the rule of law?
Nice try, Purdue.
I jumped through hoops like that once. Six or seven interviews with everyone from HR to one of the company founders, had to submit a freaking essay, only to be low-balled by the salary at the end; I ended up declining the offer. Biggest waste of time.
