Yes, I agree that the Steam Deck is a lot more niche. But nintendo has a lot bigger goal to fullfill, especially because they are shareholder driven. The Wii U sold twice as much as the steam deck now but it was considered a major flop still. I think the switch 2 will go the same route if they don’t lower the price to 300$. Especially since it has an even worse screen than the OLED switch.
The people around me argue the exact opposite. When they have a desktop, they already have a hige library of games that they dont have to ourchase. But even the ones that dont have a desktop usually get persuaded when I tell them waht some games cost during sales.
Every switch owner I know has a terrible opinion of the switch 2s price and the new 90$ price tag they started for games.
Meanwhile more and more people around me are buying a steam deck, I have converted 4 people last year alone. Even my nephew has one and is happy with it.
Since most of them are not airtight they suck like hell and they heat up in the summer to make a mold heaven. Some of them have gaps larger than a London subway station.
A few years ago there was the possibility of me moving to the US from Germany and if I would have bought a house there, I would probably have installed additional Schuko-outlets all over the place.
While I agree that social engineering and phishing are a major part of security vulnerabilities, let‘s not diminish the shoddy coding work of many companies out there that try to safe as much money as possible to please their shareholders by leaving out QA and ignoring or even threatening security researchers.
American catholics are very different to european catholics. Not that european catholics are good, but compared to the US version they are outright progressive.
Sued them with a guillotine?
